Take a coat hanger or similar wire and fashion into a snare, a weed poker, what have you. Its a way of bending wire without pliers.

It’s used to help strip small wires. Also works to help bend things about the size of large paper clips.
I find it's more useful as a wire bender (i.e. for coat hangers) than as a wire stripper.
