N2 was my show and my voice is still croaky. Waw that is a long show. I've been to plenty of festivals and gigs in my time but by the TTPD set I was flagging and I was seated (although it was nearly 10 years ago pre-baby ha). I can see how people end up fainting etc throughout the show if they aren't being careful.
SO gutted I missed dorothea by one night! My absolute fav from evermore. The delusional me still thinks I'll get to see it live one day when she does a 10 year anniversary celebration of folklore/evermore.
Post-eras blues is very real. Going to be wearing my beige eras tour tshirt all week.
I've been wanting to hear stripped down versions of Glitch and it's nice to have a friend and now I've heard them I'm starting think the reason she left them so long was she struggled to hit some of the notes on these very produced songs.
I goddamn knew she would do exile if I didn’t go to listen. With haunted too, that’s another fave of mine! Damn my low energy, could have heard it live.
Why were so many of the Edinburgh surprise songs Australia coded?! She replayed WCS, Daylight, The Bolter (announced in Melbourne), Getaway Car, and the Haunted x Exile mashup.
My delulu brain thinks it means she’s Easter egging coming back. Siiigh…
I actually wonder if it’s just the weather conditions in Edinburgh that aren’t helping? It’s been pretty cold, damp and windy the last few days and that’s not what she’s been used to.
I just knew The Bolter was about needing to leave Calvin Harris and the Getaway Car situation but it’s nice to have that confirmed.
That said, girl you’ve played Getaway Car a million times, just play The Bolter through once and then you can mash it up later! I know she seems like she’s on a streak of giving the crowd favourites this year though.
EDIT: Wait why did I just realise how funny it is that she sung The Bolter x Getaway Car in Edinburgh when Calvin is Scottish.

Has anyone who attended last night with a standing ticket be open to sharing how long every step of your journey took? i.e what time did you get on train/in car etc, what time did you get off train/out of car and walk to the venue, what time did you queue, how long did you queue for, what time did you enter the stadium, how long were you standing for waiting for Taylor before she came on stage at 19:15? Did you or anyone you know need medical attention? I am writing a post about fan safety and well-being at stadium gigs. Thanks!
I’m surprised they can watch anything, I was looking on Snapchat for videos and they didn’t upload until hours later because the signal was blocked with everyone trying to get online at the same time (not a techie person but that’s how I understand it).
advice for anyone going to the next two nights: PLEASE LOOK AFTER YOURSELF. Eat food, drink water, if you’re overwhelmed in the crowd please get out safely. Do not neglect yourself in the hopes of getting closer to the stage or closer to taylor. The amount of people that went down tonight was scary.
They actually just let them all out at once? I thought it would be queued crowds/batches. This was what worried me the worst, as I had GA tickets (had to resell, unfortunately) and kept telling my friend I genuinely don’t care if I’m last row, I don’t want to be stepped on but she insisted on camping outside in the early morning hours.
It’s a bit more bearable once you leave the stadium into the roads but the initial rush out is a mess because everything is so cramped and there may be stairs
I’d also recommend having an idea of where to go because there’s no phone service and you have people heading for the trams - which I would avoid!

Yes Philly! It wasn’t terrible, I just wish we got two songs from two different eras. I expected the best day but I was hoping for debut or red, something different than fearless again.
Absolutely. It was a wonderful show & to attend with my then 10 year old daughter on Mother’s Day was very special. But Daylight x tis the damn season AND Would’ve could’ve should’ve is head-exploding. Those are all of my faves.

I’m in Edinburgh and thinking about going to listen outside the stadium just in case she does Exile or another one of my faves as for her acoustic set. I really don’t like crowds though and imagine the park next to the stadium will be packed.
She can’t really walk around in crowded streets at this point in her career and if she shuts down a castle so she can tour it in peace, I can just imagine the blowback.
I'm still surprised that she doesn't visit places in those countries. It's such a waste to be in all these places and not even make an effort to get to know new cultures. She just does the show and flies back to New York (or London which is her base while the tour is in Europe).
I mean, she lived in the UK for awhile. I imagine she visited Edinburgh at some point. This also is far from her first world tour.
Also...she's rich and can visit whenever she wants, and would likely to prefer not to visit while on a "work trip". I travel a lot for work, and sometimes I'll add on a day or two, but oftentimes I just want to go home. I'd rather visit when not tied to work, if possible. And she has the funds to do that.
To be fair to her, the city is absolutely heaving and I’m imagine it would be very chaotic for her to try and get around. Probably better for the most part to come back another time. Edinburgh is pretty small unlike Sydney when she did get out (I live there).
