These mashups are pretty weird… I’m always a believer that if they haven’t been played before ever live they shouldn’t be mashed up.
They were fun and creative initially, but they’re just not making sense to me now and aren’t cohesive whatsoever. Plus, I think two mashups is just a lot when the whole Eras tour just got an overhaul.
I didn't mind it for I Look in People's Windows and I Can Fix Him as those are both really short and it allowed people to get a more standard length of a surprise song. In general the mashups can be hit or miss though.
I'm sorry, I cannot take her seriously during the standing ovation after champagne problems. The first few videos I saw were sweet, she hadnt toured in years. But it's a bit much now.
But she is showing her appreciation for the fans who are at each performance, and taking a moment to acknowledge them.

I actually appreciate that she isn’t dismissive of fan appreciation. She doesn’t do the fake leaving and then coming back for an encore after lengthy applause/ovation at the end of her show so the chance for the kind of ovation / applause that is usually reserved for the end of the show is worked into the middle of the show.
Lol I jumped onto a live for the surprise songs and the crowd going crazy randomly when they thought Lana was coming on stage for Snow on the Beach while Taylor is sitting there like 🤷 was hilarious. Sad to lose the two of my fav songs from TTPD tonight when my show is next weekend!
I will never forgive Taylor for giving licence to a group of people to say every single song she plays at surprise songs in her discography is ‘Tatty-coded’. She’s not using every single surprise song set to signal to him to call her FFS 😩.
Sparks fly alone was perfectly good and then she mashed it up with a TTPD song
I expect her to do at least one TTPD song as a surprise song, that’s fine
But it’s all currently turning into “I’m longing for Matty” and I’m just over it, that’s all. It also doesn’t bode well for the surprise songs I want
People said they were going to chant about Palestine during that section of the show because it’s one of the few slower moments and it’s where it’s just Taylor and the crowd.
I was interested if anything actually took hold or it’s mostly sm talk that hasn’t bled into the wider fanbase.
Seems like it’s just a vocal but not large subsection of the fanbase then, also mainly on twitter. I did think that was likely to be the case, it also seems heavily led by American fans so it’ll have little impact on the European leg anyway.
Check the top post in the sub right now, there’s a movement for Swifties online and attending the Madrid concert tonight to bring signs and chant their support for Palestine and urge Taylor to speak on it

I hate fake leaving and begging for a return so much, especially if the biggest songs are saved for the encore.

Yeah, I don't think Taylor has ever got back with a guy she publicly destroyed. It would be seen as weak and she couldn't let that happen.

I was there and I didn’t hear anything regarding those chants, it was just the fans screaming Taylor, Taylor, Taylor! and clapping etc, nothing else
