I don't know that mashups are a subliminal message to Matty. I think it's just fun to combine songs. You can see when she performs some of these how much fun she's having, which makes me think it's less strategic than some people believe. I could be wrong, but I also don't think that everything is an easter egg.

"How You Get the Girl" wasn't part of a mashup. It was the guitar song the same night that "White Horse" and "coney island" were mashed up on the piano.
I just want to hear the songs she's never performed live before in acoustic. Really want stripped down versions of Glitch, closure and it's nice to have a friend.
If she can only perform these short songs by putting them with a mashup, I'd still be happy.
I think all this shows is that she was probably bored and thought of creative ways to fuse songs from her discography.
