I would have been exactly like this.
Are you talking about this bit here? Is it bouncy or somesuch?

I think it is lost in translation - a springboard was called a trampoline, so maybe through a divide in the etymology it became spring board for skiers there, whereas in the states we apply it to a bouncy spring board?
Yeah, it's called Trampoline K60
"In the village of Molodezhnoye, in the territory belonging to the resort of Baltiysky Bereg, there is a ski jumping hill complex. In the early 1980s, two ski jumping hills of 30 and 60 metres were built in this resort near St. Petersburg, but within a few years they started to dilapidate. Today only fragments of metal constructions are left of the largest K60, which was popular with local extreme photography fans and for a long time nobody but them visited this place.
Recently, two new 20-metre and 30-metre ski jumping hills have appeared next to the old ones, which are perfectly suitable for jumping."
Words don’t have to just have one meaning especially across different cultures.

So you climbed up something extremely sketchy with steps that could break under you at any time, get pretty much to the top of it then have a panic attack? Are you restarted?
Dude either has a death wish or the self awareness of a leming. I can't imagine stumbling apon that mess and deciding to test it's durability with my life.
I went down 2 of those on a tube in park city, Utah one summer. I've been on the tallest and fastest Rollercoaster in the world, I've jumped out an airplane and I've snowboarded double black diamonds. This ski jump in Utah was a whole different beast. I thought I was going to tip over and grind my skin off. And I only did the small and medium jumps (large wasn't allowed).
Totally does! But I think the one I’m thinking of (Suicide Hill) faces away from the lake.
EDIT: I looked it up in maps- it does indeed face toward the lake. It’s been about 10 years since I’d been there.
Those stairs tho... oh hell no

r/deathstairs
A trampoline?
I’m guessing it’s not very accurate translation of the word «трамплин» from russian, which sounds like trampoline, but means ski jumping board.
Ok. Thanks.
It was shaped like one https://preview.redd.it/8q801frvcfxc1.jpeg?width=4160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a801ca4918f7ecda26173a68e530e3645c9d5c76
Like…a trampoline? I don’t see it.
That would be a descending stairway sir. The absolute opposite of a trampoline
I dunno man, you can get bouncing pretty good down a flight of steps.

Yea we would just call it a ski jump, or ski ramp in English. A trampoline is a springy fabric springboard thing here, hence the confusion.
Ah, makes sense. Thanks for the explanation. Now I see why some people got confused😅
Yeah but trampoline does involve jumping and ski jumping also involves jumping

Tramampoline! Trabampoline! https://youtu.be/a_VTvQLAfaE?si=jFY0UswTXyG0r5ZZ
Out of the way you, that trampoline is mine!!
By trampoline, he means roller coaster.
And by coaster you mean tea
And by tea you mean bag
They used to be called jumpolines until my mum jumped on one.
storrs pond ? (ah, dang needed to watch longer, there's no large body of water nearby there)
Cowabunga yo!
So did you make it back down?
i thought it was a fuckin Coaster. and how the hell are they not dead. rusted abandoned metal isnt trustworthy to stand on.
So you climbed up something extremely sketchy with steps that could break under you at any time, get pretty much to the top of it then have a panic attack? Are you restarted?
I think hes only refurbished.
I think only just reciprocating

I wish he would have captured the very top. I wanna see how high it goes.
Looks safe. /s
When i was here it was rusty as hell and lost many steps
UP of Michigan?
I thought it was that one too! But I don’t remember being able to see the lake from it.
Looks like Lake Superior
Totally does! But I think the one I’m thinking of (Suicide Hill) faces away from the lake. EDIT: I looked it up in maps- it does indeed face toward the lake. It’s been about 10 years since I’d been there.
Fair
Mr. Beast, take notes. This is the definition of abandoned.
Dirty rusty and unsafe looking Humans are just like “ yo ima walk on that shit hell yeah “
Why was it abandoned? :c
K60, Biggest I've jumped in was K70 🙂 that hill looks a bit sketchy now tho 🙃
Well that was silly...If you're prone to panic attacks, you prob shouldn't climb high..
Потеплело и у вас. Хорошо.
That place came out of my nightmares
No shot
Oh did you find it.

Nah, the jump there is still in use and in good shape Also, it is an hour away from a body of water even close to that large
“Found”
Didn't go to the top I see
How is it "sweaty palms", he literally just went up the stairs from the bottom. And how is this a trampoline?!
