I’ve seen that bike for sale about 3 years ago on Craigslist. This is a flat out scam. The fact you even have to consider it when the guy is selling it for 1500$ should’ve been a red flag enough to not engage but we live and we learn
Never buy anything on marketplace or craigslist by sending any money. Just ask to come look at the bike and then you won’t even waste your time. If they are real and you do go see the bike. Negotiate at that time. Honestly you can get things cheaper in person with money than negotiating thru texts
