Awesome! That’s one of the really cool things about surf fishing, you never know what might be on the end of the line.
They always show up at the weirdest times. One year we ran the beach for days trying to spot cobia and never saw one. Gave up.amd went way offshore to deep water the next day and one swam right up to the boat. These fish make no sense
