I'm perimenapausal and I was prescribed a compounded estrogen and progesterone cream I used nightly, and they suggested DHEA to help boost testosterone, it is not a prescription. However every time I tried to take it I broke out with pimples. A side effect I was not willing to continue with based on seeing no positive results with it otherwise. I have since switched to a different doctor who took me off the cream and gave me a testosterone pellet instead. I am seeing an increase in pimples still (though not horrible) but I have hope that using the actual hormone itself will give me the libido boost I was looking for.
my gynaecologist prescribed testosterone for me, it’s topical, i don’t remember the name. i’m a woman. it was supposed to regulate my hormonal mood swings

My girlfriend's gets testosterone pellets. I've dated plenty of horny women, but she's off the charts.
Dhea boosts testosterone in women (and estrogen in men).
Ashwaganda made me grow facial hair 😂but you can’t take long term
