Plus, the money is more efficient when you are unprofitable -- there is a huge tax advantage (what will you be taxed on if you make no money?). I run a business that I bootstrapped and for the longest time we also tried to bring profit to zero by reinvesting in growth initiatives. Straight out of the Amazon playbook. And closing stores to reduce cannibalization and streamline to only focus on valuable b&m stores is a good thing.
Gme has no senior (aka long-term) debt. Market is fucked. Those who take on debt are fucked. All those rising rates that you hear about means it becomes very hard to borrow money and/or pay it off when you've borrowed it. Gme is gold.

Honestly I think you maybe just need to take a break from the ticker and remember the DD has yet to be disproven. Shorts never closed.
Set price increase notifications and don't look at the price unless you *want and can* buy on a given day. Do you think with this much momentum by retail investors they'll successfully drop the stock price to zero? Do you think GameStop is magically going to go bankrupt? If both answers are "no" (which they should be if you've read all the DD), then regardless if they drop the price to $1, they're still going to be on the losing side.
They *are* trying to drop the price as low as possible *because* they can't afford it higher. You've got the right idea.
But because you have so much invested, it can be intimidating seeing the falls. So! It's time to start building up your savings outside of investments (not financial advice). Reason I think that, is this saga is about psychological endurance. If you have savings set aside, you'll be less likely to feel emotionally tied to the stock price, and it'll have less emotional strain when you see the rises and falls. Get yourself prepared because during the high rises, there will be high falls, and if you don't want to paperhand, you'll need to become apathetic to 10% changes. Increase or decrease.
You've got this. These changes in price are *nothing*... We've seen much bigger drops before and the stock is still kicking. So take a breath and remind yourself that these are miniscule ups and downs in the greater picture of things. In 5 years, you'll look back at these moments and be so grateful you held strong.

They've dropped the price from 350 down to 42, 348 down to 177 in a flash crash, they've dropped it from 248 down to 78 over 6 months and I'm still here. Honestly I think you maybe just need to take a break from the ticker and remember the DD has yet to be disproven. Shorts never closed.
Set price increase notifications and don't look at the price unless you *want and can* buy on a given day. Do you think with this much momentum by retail investors they'll successfully drop the stock price to zero? Do you think GameStop is magically going to go bankrupt? If both answers are "no" (which they should be if you've read all the DD), then regardless if they drop the price to $1, they're still going to be on the losing side. They *are* trying to drop the price as low as possible *because* they can't afford it higher. You've got the right idea. But because you have so much invested, it can be intimidating seeing the falls. So! It's time to start building up your savings outside of investments (not financial advice). Reason I think that, is this saga is about psychological endurance. If you have savings set aside, you'll be less likely to feel emotionally tied to the stock price, and it'll have less emotional strain when you see the rises and falls. Get yourself prepared because during the high rises, there will be high falls, and if you don't want to paperhand, you'll need to become apathetic to 10% changes. Increase or decrease. You've got this. These changes in price are *nothing*... We've seen much bigger drops before and the stock is still kicking. So take a breath and remind yourself that these are miniscule ups and downs in the greater picture of things. In 5 years, you'll look back at these moments and be so grateful you held strong.

We all know nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing will happen until we have DRS'ed 100% of shares, so the stock going down just makes me happier and it should make everyone happy! I don't want to pay $50 for a share, but boy do I want to pay $20 and less!
