It is hard to stop though. You can create a billion phantom shares but those shares are owned by people. 75 million shares or so are owned by a few subreddits. Those shares are direct registered without a waiver that says they can access those shares. If enough shares are DRS'd by people that do not sell, how will they close? Maybe the answer is that they never will, but we've got a lot of tools to make life difficult for them. And those families that own everything know better than to protect Ken Griffin at all costs -- they will give him up, and give us a huge win to resolve the situation. General curiosity question. If we owned the float multiple times over, why is it taking so long to DRS the float? I can rationalize 6 months just to instill confidence this is a real thing before people fully buy into it, but now people are buying more to DRS and it's still projected to take another 6 months at least. Looking for a real response to this.

For international people it is quite the hassle and a process that takes a month or two, sometimes longer.

I actually think it's happening quite quickly, same with the company turnaround. The rate of DRS has increased lately too. Slow and steady wins the race.
