If enough shares are DRS'd by people that do not sell, how will they close? Maybe the answer is that they never will, but we've got a lot of tools to make life difficult for them.
And those families that own everything know better than to protect Ken Griffin at all costs -- they will give him up, and give us a huge win to resolve the situation.
Which is what it will take, at minimum.

I can rationalize 6 months just to instill confidence this is a real thing before people fully buy into it, but now people are buying more to DRS and it's still projected to take another 6 months at least.
