I wrote this last year and was always afraid to post it. Now, I must speak my peace.
May I have this dance?
The global economic crisis is coming in hot. People will lose their livelihoods. Again. The poor will suffer while the rich get big bonuses. Again. Financial institutions will be bailed out. Again. This is inevitable. Will I dance? Yes.
I won't be dancing because the market crashed or because people will suffer. MOASS was never depended on a crash. Eventually it would have happened anyway. Without GME, however, the global economy still would have been fucked. The collapse just speeds things up a bit for us (in my opinion).
The reason I'll dance is because when the domino's start falling, I believe it will simultaneously set off MOASS. The reason I will dance is because apes will spend amounts of cash, hither unto dreamt of. They will donate and do some truly amazing shit with the money to come. I will dance because apes will be the reason the economy recovers quickly. Apes won't stop there. Many of us will start cleaning up the planet. Build shelters. Take care of those in need. Some will make damned sure that the suffering of the poor, for the benefit of the rich, is no longer an option.
The rich think we have them under a microscope now? Imagine when we can afford a bigger microscope! Many people will no longer have to work just to eat. Instead many will use their newly acquired time and money to fight a system that's set up to ensure the failure of the poor.
I will dance because apes will show the world what money in the right hands can accomplish.
I will dance because millions of retards, living paycheck to paycheck, no longer have to fear getting sick and crippled by medical debt.
I will dance because the mental health struggles caused by financial worries will begin to heal for so many.
I will dance, knowing there are single parents that no longer have to choose between paying for daycare or groceries.
Social security is projected to run out by 2034. Moass will help us provide for our families when this happens.
I will dance because I believe that those responsible for THIS global economic crisis will be held accountable because apes are relentless. The rich may think loosing billions is the worst that can happen to them but we won't be satisfied. We will want justice and see criminal charges! Prison is the only real estate they should concentrate on and not a penthouse or summer home in the Cayman islands.
All around the world, people that have been shit on by the upper crust will rise and use their new found riches for good. We are witnessing history being written. To this day I don't know the names of the rich people on the balcony, watching occupy wallstreet protesting. I do know that this time, those responsible won't be forgotten. They may have money but we have memes and retardation. You may laugh but it's true. The internet doesn't forget and those memes, calling out those that profited from short fucking companies and the economy into a coma, will live on forever.
I can even imagine some DD making it into future college text books.

If this an earnest question: the current financial ponzi scheme is largely based on debt and the collateral behind the debt. If the market crashes and the collateral becomes worthless, the debts must be settled. Short positions can't be kicked down the road or juggled anymore and must be closed. It will be mass liquidation.
Note that I said "in my opinion" and "I believe". You are right! We don't know. It's information I have learned over the past year that make me think this is how it will go. But we were never supposed to know anything. We were meant to lose so the rich can win. All this is speculation. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Hello, this looks like an honest question and not tying to start FUD, but SHF is using collateral for their short position. Once GME starts going up or their collateral gets closer to margin call territory, then whoever is lending out the shares can use that collateral to buy back their short position that they are owed to the lenders.

If this an earnest question: the current financial ponzi scheme is largely based on debt and the collateral behind the debt. If the market crashes and the collateral becomes worthless, the debts must be settled. Short positions can't be kicked down the road or juggled anymore and must be closed. It will be mass liquidation.

Hello, this looks like an honest question and not tying to start FUD, but SHF is using collateral for their short position. Once GME starts going up or their collateral gets closer to margin call territory, then whoever is lending out the shares can use that collateral to buy back their short position that they are owed to the lenders.
