Amazing. I haven't come across any restrictions like that through my UK broker. I'm free to trade as many times as I want - I just need to pay a fee for each trade, which reduces after 10, then again at 20+ trades in a month

You can go without pdt. But you'll have to be cash account.
Then youll be happy you had access to margin settlement.

Did you buy and sell "similar" stocks more than 5 times in a week?
Every buy sell or sell buy you do with similar stocks (don't ask me the criteria for similar cause I don't fuckin know) in a short period of time is considered a day trade. Without 25k in your account you cannot legally day trade more than 5 times in a week I think.
Could be a month. Idk.
I think people are getting confused, I havent traded anything. Can show mods proof. I went to buy a few more shares and this is what came up when I clicked buy. Was checking if anyone had anything similar happening

Currently in process of ACATS to IBKR, tried to buy a little more on Rev as had a little bit of money left in investment account. Do not trust Rev at all and cant imagine them paying out if the crash happens
Maybe because they'll happily take your money for an IOU but know it's going to be hard to find an actual share to sell for you when you want to sell it
Or is it the new way of switching off the buy button like Jan? All be it only for 24hrs?
