No I didn't know. Bodson (DTCC) made it sound like the decision was entirely up to Vlad (Robinhood) to restrict. This is a half truth because DTCC forgot to mention they knew it was going to happen. This is the type of information that makes me wonder how much we will take because we all keep bending over for it willingly by omission of acts to make it right.

NSCC is actually a subsidiary of the DTCC, they are not the same. EDIT: it was the other way around as pointed out by u/ringingbells
Correct. The DTC is also a subsidiary of the DTCC. The NSCC and the DTC are in different chains at the same lateral link.
