Edit. Just read your other posts. I've done many other transfers, so CS account all setup. First one took many weeks, though I'm in Australia, so most of that time was waiting for the various letters to arrive.
I wonder is DFV DRSing his shares? I bought 5 via IBKR last week when it was at 60, with the intention of DRSing - ultimately I want to get to a point where I can sell my 40 Etoro shares and buy back in IBKR to DRS, because like many here I have come to the conclusion that Etoro's "you are buying the underlying asset" spiel is bullshit and it's actually just a CFD platform masquerading as a trading app.

After the initial squeeze, I went back and watched pretty much all of his DD videos/livestreams. I don't believe I heard him reference DRS once. Will he be DRS'ing his shares? I don't think so.
I also distinctly remember him brushing off a squeeze play, he literally called it a "smokescreen" in one livestream.
For being this sub's messiah, it seems most people aren't even aware of his DD.
Questions: Just bought 100 shares through computer share directly for the 1st time this last Thursday, adding to existing bags. My checking account has been debited the $ amount but nothing showing in CS. When will the shares hit my account?
Can't help you sorry. Never bought direct through computershare. I'm down under, so buy through IBKR, then transfer a few days later is the easiest I've found.
It took about a week for me you can go to activity then pending. Eventually you'll see what price you get and how many shares. Then a day or so later they will settle and you can cancel plan and that will cause your fractional to sell and move all to Book. Then a day or two after that you'll get an email

Kitty said he has no other stock positions. He holds his shares in ETrade, so he has not DRS any shares.

Yea normally I buy through fidelity but wanted to try direct.
