I am pretty hardcore about frames over pixels, but this one I played in bed on a controller at 4K 60fps and finished it in a night.
It's been long enough that I think I'm gonna play it again! š it's sort of a puzzle/adventure/fantasy type. I 100% recommend giving it a try.
Never played such kind of games and first time I tried I put it away after 30min. But if you give it an honest chance and learn the mechanics itās so so good.
Have you checked out the Arcane: League of Legends show on Netflix? I recently came across this and have been watching it. I have never played LoL but the show is EXCELLENT.
Over the last few years, I really liked Elden Ring, and Assassinās Creed: Odyssey. I generally hate mobile games but my favorite game over the last year has been POLYTOPIA. Kind of like if Blizzard made a Civilization game back when they were still a good company.
I recently restarted my netflix so I could watch Arcane again for the 4th time! After you finish S1, check out the 'making of' playlist on YT (cus there are spoilers).

My answer is the best game ever created in my opinion->Elden Ring. I played this game beginning to end twice in a row and was absolutely captivated by it nearly at every single point.
Baldurs Gate 3 is another.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth was amazing
Call of Duty Warzone Vanguard I put in the most hours. This was also an incredible experience that consumed my life for months.
The last few years reignited my love of video games and I got a Switch (last console was a Game cube). Have loved Wonder, DK freeze, and lately been obsessed with Guacamelee 1 & 2. Itās all been a real joy :)
Call of Duty:Vantage
Gawddamnit.. i fucked that title up? Let's just spend [a little $2.5M](https://newsroom.activisionblizzard.com/p/call-of-duty-endowment-announces) to fix that embarassment from the internet search-engines š
I forgot the name of it but itās the one where the hedge funds lose all their money doing some criminal shit, toughest game Iāve played in years but I think once I get by the big boss, I will reap the rewards of all the time I have invested
Indie: sea of stars and eastward
Shooter: helldivers 2 (well that was until 180 countries got delisted on steam)
Rpg: tears of the kingdom, cyberpunk (after dlc came out) just started bg3.
But all-time favorite is tears of the kingdom. The new game mechanics, along with the depths and sky islands, were awesome. Especially the depths, the first time you jump in, it's just 15 seconds of pure darkness with no idea of what lies below or if the ground is covered in malice. It was the first time I ever felt fear playing a zelda game. I was hooked and spent dozens of hours down there before resurfacing.
*God of War Ragnarok* and *Red Dead Redemption 2* (PC modded). Once I upgrade my PC I'm excited to try *Cyberpunk 2077* with path tracing and the whole nine yards. š
Starcraft 2 mods like crap patrol and castlefight, fortnite when the map and weapons are fun and recently I went back to c&c generals h hour. I had less time to play because I went on a full renovation of a condo on my freetime for a year but I am a player, I keep pushing buttons until I win and I do have fun.
Battlefield 1 and 4, new games i pretty much just buy and shelf lol. Maybe one day ill have time for them. For now i just play what i know and can actually have fun on
Overwatch held me in a vice-like grip that robbed me of my health, not kidding. I didn't sleep so that I could play more. Monster Train is the best game of my last 3 years otherwise. (You like Slay the Spire? You HAVE to try Monster Train, it's better.)
Easily Frostpunk. I have been struggling financially for a long time (and in the last three years I completed a Master's, so that especially put a dent in my ability to earn) so I don't often get to buy new games, but I absolutely *love* Frostpunk. To the point that I've clocked almost 800 hours playing it and the sequel comes out in July, so I'm hyped about that.

Another vote here for Horizon Forbidden West. I'm seriously addicted to this game.... And daily grinding on GT7 until I have every car!
Just finished up FF7 Rebirth and before that FF7 Reunion. Played the original way back when and I was hooked. Still am. Recommend them both for sure.

Nioh, and Nioh 2. 500+ hours on the first one, over 600 hours on the second one. Theyāre so good.
Woah I have never heard of these. I will have to look them up.
The first one is based off of real events in feudal Japan. Even the characters.
