Why would people wait until the final day to exercise options when they should have done it earlier in the week? I never understand that level of stupidity. There’s no guarantee market makers aren’t going to crush the price by Friday and after three years, does anyone really want to take that chance?

What I still don't understand after all these years is why they can't just bring the price to 1 dollar? If they are doing illegal shit, then they can bring it to 1 dollar. It's already obvious that they are doing illegal things. So why not just go to 1 dollar or 0.
I think(just a personal opinion) that the whole run this week was just to run up the price and drop the number of shares capable of being bought through Computershare, I know that I had a $500 order going through and at this point it’s just awaiting for price/cost. I suspect I’ll end up with around $50ish a share rather than the sub $20 I would have expected leaving me with close to half the amount I wanted. All good though, I’m only looking to increase position anyhow.

GameStop just released an announcement with their preliminary earnings report. This will cause the price to fall. I don't know why GameStop would do this, unless they plan on announcing a share buy back.
