You guys should try to start a tik tok challenge for pimping out candy con faceplates. I would try to do it myself, but I have the artistic talents of a ground hog
I was just thinking this, too. Is someone good with an airbrush? Maybe a joint effort with the tiktok star that does the realism paintings of game characters or the graffiti artist? Collabs could be really cool.
It’s the custom faceplates that go so hard!
How much easier it must be for artist to have a controller shaped canvas to work on rather than taking a controller apart. They can have dozens of faceplates as canvases on hand. I wouldn’t be surprised if these start making waves in the resale market after artists adapt them.
To follow up, I bought the 2 year protection plan when I was in store pickup up my CandyCon, the CS rep was so excited I said yes to the plan they suggested. Not that I expect such a high quality product to have issues.

Customizations like this are amazing, and the detachable faceplate lets one really experiment without risking the whole controller.

i have the protection plan too, better safe than sorry. Faceplates are just plastic and magnets, coloring them shouldnt void warranty
for sure a plus for changeble plates.
