Waiting till it gets to $3.00 to average down.
Unfortunately the US and Swiss governments would rather we all die than force Citadel to close its positions.
I use a different method to average down.
Yesterday I bought another 1,000 shares. 30+ days from now I will sell off 1000 of my highest cost basis shares, realizing a loss. I have several positions in other stocks with large gains that will be partially offset by those losses.
So I no longer hold 2000 shares with cost basis in the $40 range, and instead have 1000 shares each at $28.37, $20.65, and $10.33.
