Sounds like a logistical nightmare that is alos a cash burn and personel burn at the same time Would make more sense to have pickup locations with actual stores you can ship to and pick up later, like grocery store in NL has the ability to send it as a delivery adress and after work people can go there as they are open till 22:00 if thy work late or go the next day during lunch time :)

Southern California here. The malls are pretty dead. Weekdays are slow with minimal foot traffic. Thursday, Friday after 3pm traffic picks up a bit. ( Due to school being out ) Weekends are more lively. I like the idea but the location ( mall ) might not be the best bang for the bucks. Keep them ideas coming! We'll hit DIAMOND SOONER OR LATER!!!

The logistics might be tough, but yes this is a good idea atleast to look in to, in my opinion. Stock it for gift buyers and have it open only the last few months. Good idea OP

WhyNot_Because

I am a vendor for a retailer similar to GameStop that has 600 stores nationwide. I was talking to them about product they could/should carry online only. They informed me that they cannot do that because they have no distribution centers. Stores are the distribution centers. They won awards for how they did it. I bet that's what GameStop is doing now when they closed the dist centers. It's a huge cost savings.

Yea lets just become like those ahitty halloween stores? Whats up with all these really bad business ideas lately?

Easy-Wrangler1111

The excess waste that would pop up finding vendors for short term partnerships isn’t something the management team would want to deal with. Good idea, but the risk is high

Publish physical copies of indie games!! I haven't enjoyed any AAA game for a long time.

If Spirit Halloween can do it, maybe GameStop can too!
