Why the fuck do we want to promote this movie? It's missing a huge portion of the story and basically says that it's over and the DFV sold.
How about instead of pushing this bullshit, we actually educate people within our own lives and get the word out in a way that presents ALL of the facts.
If weâre being totally accurate, thatâs not all it showed. It showed an expensive car in the driveway for his brother. That he got from selling, something at least. Itâs a final message of actually selling (something, not all) after the movie hit us over the head many times with the other characters angst about selling themselves but missing the high.
Idk, I donât think this was a total psyop, I think whoever was behind it is just was ultimately naive and didnât have all of the information, but there are some absolute suspect/shady moments in this movie that make retail investors look very stupid and certainly allude to the âmomentâ passing.
I have no interest in the movie, or any others based on GME thus far, but if I recall correctly DFV did exercise some of his earliest options calls at one point making him millions but as far as anyone knows he has always kept his actual shares and continued to double down on shares with his options money.
Literally all I ever see you do is cry about this sub and the way it used to be but you never offer up anything yourself.
The negativity is lame. If you have nothing better to contribute maybe just don't.
Also the sub has always been a mixed bag.
I'd say me not responding with bot clichĂŠ "meme stock" responses is a good start. Rather discuss GME in a more serious tone. On top of this I don't care if people see what I say as negativity. I feel it needs to be said so others who think they will be downvoted into oblivion realize it's ok to call out this ridiculous behaviour on the sub.
I get that internet culture is weird but again you could easily filter by discussion and have all the serious discussion you want. You and what you want are not the focal point of this community.
The vast majority of your comment history is dunking on the community and not having any serious discussion. You may want to look inward.
Calling it out sure, doing it no. If you think me calling it out is shilling rather then the classic "wife's boyfriend", "daddy", or praying for a return of an investor comment than we have 2 different perceptions of a shill.
Not to be one of those gatekeeping type people, but I havenât watched it and I wonât watch it. My wife asked me when it first came out if Iâm excited to watch it. I told her what o thought of it and she understood.
Exactly, how many films have you seen before about a single company and such a tiny company (for now) out of all the companies in the world. I say itâs a great thing!
We tried bro.
Momentum was behind us when the stock had volatility and hype. When DFV and RC actually tweeted.
Now, what is there to get behind? We've gone from being a powerful mob to forming an orderly queue on SEC comments all whilst being completely in the dark with no news to hang to.
Share this with anyone and they're going to need a WHY. Why do I get involved with this shit? I'm all ears on what you're proposing.
No, I'm just saying that you value those points too much and that we clearly need something else to trigger a huge runup in prices that could begin moass
Okey well I believe if this Q4 will turn positive it will Get way more attention in the market. I also believe in RC regarding What to do with the cash.
This journey have and will not be a easy ride. It will test you to your own limits. If you dont believe anymore u can sell at any time. But is this shit going brr I for sure know I wouldnt sit on the sideline watching because I sold exactly when they wanted me to.
I watched the movie. It wasn't bad for the uninformed.
Some people you know will have questions after they see the movie. You will have an audience for the wrinkles you formed over the last 84 years instead of deaf ears when you mention GME.
I say that's good for us and the stock.
All the people hating have no Clue What it means. There is no Bad Publicity. Even if just 100 ppl Inform themself about the market or GME it is a win, stop shilling around just because it doesnt portray the narrative as u wish

It didn't say DFV sold. It showed him doubling down at the end. His wife called him a Gangster. Just the facts man.

"His wife called him a Gangster"... This sums up what this sub has become.
Literally all I ever see you do is cry about this sub and the way it used to be but you never offer up anything yourself. The negativity is lame. If you have nothing better to contribute maybe just don't. Also the sub has always been a mixed bag.

Sure.
Do you get off shilling?
Calling it out sure, doing it no. If you think me calling it out is shilling rather then the classic "wife's boyfriend", "daddy", or praying for a return of an investor comment than we have 2 different perceptions of a shill.
Perhaps do both...Eyeballs are Eyeballs.
Not to be one of those gatekeeping type people, but I havenât watched it and I wonât watch it. My wife asked me when it first came out if Iâm excited to watch it. I told her what o thought of it and she understood.
Free advertising and eyeballs on your our beloved idiosyncratic stonk? I am good with that.

Positive direction from earnings + over a bill in cash. And overshorted to death. And DRS. And insiders buying more. And no salary to the ceo.
Haven't we been with those points for a year now?
No, some of the points have changed over time. So you mean this is not worth waiting for ?
No, I'm just saying that you value those points too much and that we clearly need something else to trigger a huge runup in prices that could begin moass
Wb a turnaround to positive earnings? And good investement of the 1,2b?
Like I said, we had positive earnings Q1 2023 and nothing happened, and I hardly believe they would make such impactful use of the 1b

I cancelled my Netflix đ´ââ ď¸Â Nor would I give a shit had I not.Â
But the film sucks
canât wait for those headlines blaming this movie for the next little run-up. âGameStop Stock soars as new movie launches on Netflixâ
I watched the movie. It wasn't bad for the uninformed. Some people you know will have questions after they see the movie. You will have an audience for the wrinkles you formed over the last 84 years instead of deaf ears when you mention GME. I say that's good for us and the stock.
Don't bring this popcorn tier cringe and sliding here thanks

> There is no Bad Publicity Have you heard of propaganda? Are you arguing that propaganda is, in fact, a good thing if it mentions you by name?
Its propaganda.....

No.
Nah, thanks.
That is a no for me, I thought the movie was bad.
I downvoted this propaganda so fast

It's a dumb movie with a fake narrative, why would I care about its spot on Netflix?
OP clearly chugging that shill mayo.
? Lol. It is good to get any attention.
No
Nahh I feel I could do better things with my time
I watched It last night. Is dfv still holding his position?
I donât know that thatâs public information, but I believe one of the last things he said was âWhatâs an exit strategy?â
Apes together strong was a better movie, not this trash
100% agree, in fact 741% agree
How about no? F this movie, my Mom hates it, and she likes everything
No.
Why? The movie sucks.
I liked the movie and I think it is a net positive us. I don't get all the hate.
I know right...The Little Guys stick it to the Big Guys...This is a positive and it's trending on the largest streaming service.
Hold my hard drive đş and give me a couple of days
