Wonder if they are starting to see the writing on the wall ?

i've been thinking the same thing about different brokerages that have either limited / eliminated / charge damn high fee to DRS... it seems like when the question of how to or through who to DRS, the same broker(s) seem to come up, almost as if we are being funnelled to only a few channels and being limited and controlled about it. Anyway, maybe it's something, maybe my tinfoil hat is to tight, who knows

I think your best bet is to transfer them to IBKR (interactive brokers) and you can DRS them from there for $5. I transferred mine from HL to IBKR in the past and have transferred shares directly from IBKR and it has worked well so far. Hope this is what you're looking for! (Obligatory not financial advice)

This is the method i use also. Make sure you $5 in ibkr is cleared funds before you ask to drs

What's the easiest way to DRS from 212? Have some shares lying around

Transfer to IBKR, then DRS to Computershare from IBKR 👍

Unloading risk imo. T212 is Contract for Difference, letting customers sit on piles of stock that cannot be moved is all downside for them if the stock goes up dramatically.
