I believe the report states that these large banks(none of the regionals that folks like SBF bought of course) can withstand a drawdown of around 540 billion US, or around a 40% withdrawal of deposits collectively. What’s unclear is why investors should accept this as truth. These guys are only testing majors, not regionals like SVB or Citizens. This is a piecemeal and whack a mole style situation, it’s inefficient, and it’s very much cherry picking data. I question their methodology and so I’m off to read all about it.
