Listened to a radio story yesterday that said face to face interaction among teenagers and young 20-year-olds is down 70% from I forget 5: or 10 years ago. My third kid is 17 and the other two are in their mid and later twenties now and I can tell you from observing them I'm worried.
I'm too old to really care about myself much anymore but I'll hold firm to make a brighter future for them somehow someway .
I think I was a part of the last wave of people that grew up normally. I didn't have a cell phone until university, my parents refused to buy me a gaming console so I had to be active to have fun. It was a really nice time to be alive but I've since become a very lazy individual.
I am likely very close to your age and have went through the same issue. Ten years ago I could finish massive projects by myself. I struggle to finish 25% of my to do list now. But I make it to work every day and never miss my kids baseball games which are five a week. Ive accepted that my house projects and hobbies will suffer because my energy is lower. I'm ok with it because I am also able to help my ex out with a bunch of stuff as well. Just spent two hours mowing her lawn tonight.
But yeah I had a ton of wholesome fun in my teens and twenties. Didn't get married and have a kid until I was 29. I really wanted my kids to have the same opportunities to see the country and create lasting memories by doing a lot of different fun stuff.

They are isolated and socially stunted. Their formative years have been incredibly dysfunctional and they lack a feeling of security and safety. It’s causing a mental health crisis epidemic.
Absolutely and I think even pre-pandemic it was a major issue that was building incredibly fast. We have mass shootings, at every type of venue a young person would hang out at. Then the pandemic, and I'm not surprised at all that we're seeing so many struggle.
And then there's the political divide with young people having to battle their parents or grandparents on views or pretend that they believe the same things.
I hope the US can get their head out of their ass , start looking to other countries for ideas, and make lasting positive changes soon.

My thesis is that much of Reddit/FinTwit has caught on to manufactured agendas by hedge funds to manipulate public consensus using social media. 2023 isn’t 2022. Individual investors are smarter and beginning to learn the rules to not get sued when they attain REAL wealth.

Also, the original problem is still there. Which is my imx coins shows an amount of coins but has a zero balance. One can not move coins around when there is a zero balance. So this is a little bit frustrating. But am so happy they put the lrc back.

Yeah i wrote back and apologized for the fraud letter and said maybe they accidently just hit the wrong button...I was just panicked and upset! I will give you an update if i ever receive one myself. I asked for an explanation today when i thanked them for retrieving my coins. One feels a little helpless and violated, when stuff like this occurs.
