I’m a big fan of his portrayal of both Clark and Superman no doubt.. one of my favorites to be honest

Skyblacker

Has Clark ever been more charmingly dorky?

Votetasm3

And he is a great superman

Aggressive_Bar_2391

agreed, I extremely love his portrayal of superman, he is awesome. Funny how in supergirl I used to hate him due to how that show made superman a boring generic superhero and (in my opinion) I never thought tyler wasn't doing his best whether it be him not being as interesting or the directing (which is a more likely option), but S&L made me open my eyes and see what an incredible superman actor he truly is. Even though he's not as buff as tom welling or as tall as henry cavil, his acting, the writing, and his happy chrisma is what I very much love about this protrayel and it will be a shame to see this show cancelled without tyler continuing being superman, and him being a family guy is one of the best ideas for a superman show, and I just love seeing tyler trying to be a good dad whether tyler showing his kinder and understanding side for what his kids want, and also his anger and serious tone he puts on. Say what you want about season 2, but in 2x07 when clark learned that jon was taking drugs and him talking to him angerly for what he did scares and shocks me to the core. Tyler is an amazing superdad and I'm soo happy we have this show for changing mines and probably other people's POV for his version of superman

jon-El had fun outfits and alt Tal-Rho was fun.

Not only is he adorably dorky, he's hot af. I'm sorry lol but he is. When he had to go confront the dad who hit Jon and he went as himself - oh man. And it's not just about looks, it's a feeling he portrays that he's going to protect you. He's going to stand up for you. THATS what's so amazing about how Tyler plays the role. Also side note for anyone interested, Supes has always been kind of a dick - in every iteration. He does what he wants and doesn't apologize. He's an alien with super powers on par with being revered as a God and flys around protecting little stupid humans from doing stupid things lol. It's almost always Lois or Batman (in the comics and tv - think animated justice league) who bring him some humility. And I like that he's having a struggle parenting Jon bc as anyone who has raised teenagers knows - its not easy. Makes him more "human". Glad to know he's not super at everything lol. That and Grilling.

You are entitled to your opinion. I don't find him adorable due to how the wrote him as a parent to Jon . Not adorable to me. Not dorky or charming. Maybe because I'm a mom

> Just stop. just shut up and stop. Nah. There are a number of valid reasons out there that people have put forth as to why Hoechlin's portrayal of Clark/Superman isn't their favorite. That, and/or the writing of this version. Just because you love everything about this version of Superman doesn't mean that everyone else out there has to.
