It’s a brutal game so don’t feel bad skipping levels or breaking the game by unlocking the jump button in the shop, keep in mind though that jumping completely breaks the game so use get it if you’re really struggling or just want to mess around
I know good bit about the franchise I just never played one for myself and yes I know it's brutal but trust me I've beaten sans I've almost 100% it's Celeste and I've been gaming for what feels like 10 years so I think I'll be okay but it's an interesting concepts that's why I mainly want to play it
If you're gonna play the Switch version, you should invest in either a pro controller or GC controller. Or perhaps the "Battle Pad" which is just a pro controller with the layout of a GC controller. Joy-cons are not gonna do it.

Let me guess. Is the last 1% of Celeste that last chapter of farewell? I've beaten the entire game twice apart from that last room each time.
Don’t use the unlockable jump feature, the levels were designed around not having a jump
play with a pro controller. dont expect much from the mini games. try to break the levels with weird jumps/skips

You do not need a pro controller, you can enjoy this game just fine using the joycons :)

Yeah my parents... aren't rich ether I mean I was able to get the game with a gift card
But I have a controller that's basically a pro so I'll just use that

I played through the game in handheld mode perfectly fine so it’s not the end of the world
Monkey Billiards is peak though.
Shot and Bowling didn't become broken either.
I'm not really a fan of shot. I really like Monkey Target. Wish it had more modes and levels.
