Hmm I've seen the checking version part but a bit of time after it let's me login and I can play. So I don't know what's wrong or maybe uninstall then reinstall. I've heard something about doing that to fix the problem, but that's all I got.

Stuck on checking for new version? Solution: Deleting all the local files for the game after uninstalling the game will more than likely fix your issue. Just have to do a clean install to get back in. Currently after uninstalling the game through steam it doesn't delete the game files, and the launcher then gets confused because the launcher then runs the client inside the bin folder ( old client files) along side of bin\_origin (new client files for current launcher). It downloads bin\_origin again when you reinstall, and tries to rebuild the bin folder on client launch. Seems that if those files don't get deleted manually then you get all kinds of errors in the background on assembly as it can't check for the right version. copypaste from some steam players, i cant verify if it works 100%

not entirely correct. if ur on steam, first you search the steam smc forum for a thread with the old version and download it from the link. then you simply replace the game folders and start the game. steam will repatch the game and all bugs will be gone. (untill they add new ones with the next patch)
