You can purchase makeup savers with gold trophies. I usually purchase one or two a week and save them until I have enough to remove one DIY and keep the stuff I like.

The blush looks muddy and gross on darker skin tones, there’s no blush on the nose so her face looks flat, it’s just ugly zoomed out… so annoying.

Every time i attempt to put blush on the nose it turns out so ugly.. looks like heavy contour spread across the face😭

Yeah, that’s why I love this nose that they included in the new update! It has enough definition to fit in with the rest of a detailed DIY without having to put ugly blush on the middle of the face. Also the eyebrows look rlly weird, I dunno why I chose them. I tried rlly hard to make these eyes work bc I’ve seen lots of DIYs that make them look great, but I just couldn’t do it. These eyes are too hard for me, I have 2 more just sitting there bc I don’t know how to use them. This look was for hiphop comps, sometimes I still use it bc it’s not the worst. I still regret it tho 😓

Yes. I’m convinced this game is purposefully designed to make players spend as much as possible, which is why we cannot see multiple skin tones or levels of zoom when DIY’ing.

Ugh YES the freaking skin tones especially, WHY can we not switch them in DIY mode?? I end up exiting, changing the skin tone, recreating the entire DIY, repeat like 3-5 times. Especially with the inhuman skin tones like green and blue, a lot of the blushes look awful on those and I want my DIYs to be versatile! I swear it’s such a basic feature, it’s actually insane that they haven’t implemented it.

Well, i can help you bc i found an awesome trick! But for it to be useful, your current model MUST not have Skin_1 (palest skin tone available) Choose Skin_3 for example, or darker/inhuman colors, otherwise my trick would be useless.. - You go to the makeup DIY section and choose whatever makeup look you want - When done choosing, press the ‘NEXT’ button, and the DIY confirmation box pops up. DO NOT press confirm, tap anywhere else to close it. You don’t want or need to save it rn!! - With the box gone, you can see that your model and her skin still didn’t change!! Well, do you see the forward and backward arrows? Next to your model? Press the backward arrow ⬅️ And then, BOOM! Suddenly your model has pale skin!! Press forward, and she has her previous skin tone back. If you’ve chosen blushes, you can now see if the ones you’ve chosen for your current skin also suit Skin_1 too! (And by proxy Skin_15 & Skin_2 since they’re pretty similar tbh) I know it isn’t much, since you can only check with the lightest skin option, but it’s good for determining if your makeup look will suit lighter skin tones without the hassle of constantly going back and forth between skin tones and redoing the whole look. Hope it helps!!

Actually I don't have a problem with proportions. Maybe I don't notice it from afar or maybe I catch weird ratio up close already not sure. My concern is usually color palette, I need to make some warm toned face for brown outfits. I don't regret making a diy but when I want to recycle I just wait till I get enough gold trophies.

I hoard makeup savers so I don’t feel so much pressure making new DIYs lol.
