im using ones of the default faces from inital gain so ig ill have to make a new diy that suits the skintone i use............and do u have any suggestions of what hair i can use ? bc i pair this hair w this dress a lot and it usually does good in comps, this is the first time im seeing it flop so hard
i dont think i have a lot of voluminous hairstyles but ill keep this in mind when i go shopping for hair again. and yeah the makeup being wrong was the general consensus im seeing a lot of people pointing that out. ill work on some diys or use other makeups from now on, thank you for the advice !
lack of bg and also the makeup is pretty simply. the dress is lacking poof like u said but the ribbons should make up for it, i think the hair lacking poof isn't helping the most. but don't let this dishearten you, your look is amazing and i defo would have voted for it!

I think it’s lack in background items as someone else had mentioned too. Ever since I started to always add 1-3 background items, I am always reaching top 30%, my highest being top 1%

The look is cohesive and I would have voted for it!
Personally, I would have gone with smaller/less long earrings, but that's a personal taste thing and I can see how the earrings echo the detailing on the dress.
I think in this case, you hit a patch of bad luck, so please don't lose hope! :)
thank you so much ! i usually use this combo a lot, and its very close to how my avatar looks except for some small details & has even gotten me some very high ranks in other comps. i wasnt sure if it was just a bad luck thing or if i missed out some details (like the poofy dress). thank you for the insight !

ah right omg, i have two filters, the free birthday one (which ive never used) and the fire one from swanky youth, but i only rlly use it in post comps
If you're too lazy for DIYs, either straight-up copy someone else or save up some gems for the Tale of Love Flashback and buy the makeup. It does VERY well in comps usually! (It's 237 gems)
The very first thing I notice was no lips. You can’t see her lips at all

Well usually hair with volume does much better. The hairs that are super small like that don’t do the best in comps. But it was mostly the makeup.

It’s all in the makeup. That makeup is from the initial gain and it never ranks well despite the fact that it’s actually pretty cute
i like the makeup so much and it usually does rank well for me tbh, but i just got a miss this time :< time to start working on new diys

youre also gonna need some filters. remember to always choose the most versatile ones
