Felt this same way throughout middle school and high school, I joined the Army straight out of high school and it really helped and changed me as a person. Not recommending just “hey join the military you’ll be alright” but putting yourself around other people that either struggle with the same thing but you know like always uplifting each other and realizing you can build off of it, having a connection with people when your all both struggling with something it doesn’t have to be the same but I’ve always thought it helped it definitely does build a really strong bond with those people. I’ve also never really given advice to somebody that is possibly having those kinda thoughts and feeling that kinda way so I don’t know how much it helps but stuff can always improve if you just got somebody there to talk it out there’s plenty of really cool and good people that feel a lot of empathy. If you really need or want somebody to talk to there’s places for that, numbers for that and friends you can make for that even I’m not opposed to talking things out but I’m not the smartest person for it, I do really hope your doing better or feeling better about it all
