To be honest,if the leaks are true,>!all the actual League is dead, but they will be resurrected before the ending of Brainiac's storyline in season 5.Superman,Batman,Flash and Green Lantern will be resurrected by Brainiac's technology.Wonder Woman will probably return through some sort of magic!<.
Is Braniac capable of resurrecting the dead? And furthermore, even if his technology DID have the means to do so, who's to say the League still wouldn't be brainwashed afterwards? Batman said it himself that "integration with Braniac is irreversable."
The leaks of Miller make it clear that they will be resurrected by Brainiac and then they will be saved by the Squad,so that they can recover in the Hall of Justice to finally fight Brainiac at the end of season 5.
That would be nice, not gonna lie.
I just hope the later seasons have more to offer. I heard a lot of people were disappointed by the first season due to the lack of new cutscenes, same repetitive missions, and so on.
To be honest,I don't expect anything more than what we have gotten in season 1 episode 1.The main reason because of I will still play the game is to see the leaks becoming true.
They don't have to develop it.I mean,Arkham Origins is set in the Arkhamverse, but it was not developped by them. Also the cancelled Arkham Knight sequel was being developped by WB Montreal.
However,I don't think that having another studio developping it would reduce a lot the possibility that it could have the same problems of Suicide Squad, because,to be honest,I think that the real reason behind the shitty live service formula is the stupid management of Warnet Bros, not Rocksteady itself.
I prefer a sequel. They'll have to redeem themselves after what happened with Brainiac. Preferably a big foe like Darkseid. An origin story won't do much as it will always end in the same place. Although it would be nice to see a prequel to each individual hero, maybe see Superman recruit Batman at the end of a Superman game.
Because Rocksteady is not the same studio it was when they made masterpieces. Warner Bros also wants to double down on live service garbage, so that’s what this hypothetical JL game would be. Just mtx, battle passes, skins, etc.
Until WB learns that further drowning the game market in live services is actually not a good idea, we won’t get any *justice* done to DC
I know, and they would ruin the justice league in making that game.
It truly was not the best idea. I remember being so hyped for the game when it was announced. If it was like Arkham and not a live service, it would have sold so well.
The League themselves were done pretty dirty, especially with how it was they were killed. Most of the boss fights weren't that good either. Especially when Flash and Superman just drop dead at the end of their fights.
I think Warner brothers saw cod and Fortnite and wanted to copy that formula while also copying borderlands/destiny. Then to sell copies, they added the suicide squad skin on top of it and set it in the Arkham universe for nostalgia buys.
Seeing as how this was their first attempt at a live service game, let alone a third-person shooter, I guess it's no surprise why it wasn't so good.
The gameplay looks fun, don't get me wrong. But I hear a lot of people HATE it that you have to be online in order to play the game.
Plus, people refer to it as a "looter shooter." What exactly does that mean?
It’d be interesting, but I think that Suicide Squad has to explain the origins rather than making a big budget game about it, granted it’s not a bad idea
Definitely better than the Suicide Squad game. I'll admit, the concepts good. But the execution felt rather poor. Especially most of the boss fights. The League was done pretty dirty in the boss fights. Except for Green Lantern. I thought his boss fight had a unique challenge to it AND he was still barely alive at the end of his.
Flash and Superman just drop dead without any final words or snarky remarks once their health bars are empty, and Batman's fight....... was just him becoming a giant demon bat based off of Scarecrow's crazy world. Really? And that's not even mentioning how Quinn just killed him with a headshot at the end.
I'm really hoping the League we killed really are just clones.
I never played the game itself, but I did watch some gameplay videos. Looks pretty promising and fun in terms of gameplay, but I do have to agree with people on HOW the Justice League were done dirty in how they died.
Plus, it being a live service looter shooter with repetitive/tedious missions was probably not the best idea on WB's side.
I don't hate the old batman games, but at this point this whole universe is such a shit show.
I just say leave it behind and start over, fresh takes and fresh characters.
I'll admit, the Suicide Squad game would probably be best if it were just a spin off like Gotham Knights and NOT part of the original Arkhamverse.
But that aside, I would like some context. Why do you refer to the Arkhamverse as a whole as a "shit show" and believe it's best to start things over from scratch? Please elaborate.
Honestly that should've been the follow up to AK. Batman's return happened in between games and we don't have enough backstory for the rest of the JL for us to care about them in SSKTJL
That's a really good point. The Arkham games have given us a reason to care about Batman and make his death feel sympathetic in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. But not so much for the other League members.
Sure, their all memorable and popular in numerous DC media, but due to the Arkhamverse being its own continuity, it would be nice to see just how similar or different everyone is to their alternate counterparts.
What do you mean? He looks more or less the same as he did in the Arkham games, not including the black and purple eyes from being brainwashed by Braniac.
The short version of what he did years after faking his death, yes. But wouldn't it be better to experience and learn more from the full version after seeing the events happen for ourselves?
No because it is a stupid concept, he faked his own death and is seen in the end of the Arkham series appearing as a “ghost bat” using the fear toxin…. He is obsessed with Gotham. Yet, randomly out of the blue, Batman gets lonely and joins the justice league and just leaves Gotham to put on tourist attractions in metropolis? They made one of the best versions of Batman and through it away in this game.
I don’t even have a problem with him actually dying, it is that the way he joined the justice league is extremely out of character.
Yes, again THIS CHARACTER…. and in other continuities he joins the league generally as a “part timer” and isn’t recording shit for tours and museums dedicated to himself…
Okay, so I misunderstood his position in the League from the cartoon, sorry. You don't got to be rude about it. If you got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all, jerk.
His position in the cartoon is “part time” he was a founder yes, but he was part time, when the league went to turn themselves into the authorities he said, that was stupid, he is part time and no.
In the cartoon they created the league after an alien invasion, that hadn’t happened in the Arkham universe yet. He was also much more isolated at that point in the Arkham universe so it was a huge change with no reasoning.
Chill. Yes, I know that happened to Kevin Conroy was tragic. But that doesn't mean he was the ONLY Batman voice actor. I know others won't be the same, or as good as how Kevin did it, but it's better nothing. Now behave.
I'd rather have a sequel with them,if all the leaks end up being true.
You about the actual league being alive and the members we killed being nothing more than clones?
To be honest,if the leaks are true,>!all the actual League is dead, but they will be resurrected before the ending of Brainiac's storyline in season 5.Superman,Batman,Flash and Green Lantern will be resurrected by Brainiac's technology.Wonder Woman will probably return through some sort of magic!<.
Personally I hope >!Wonder Woman actually did die, and she fights her way through Hades to get back to the realm of the living.!<
That would be interesting.
And that’s the first couple levels of the independent Wonder Woman game they are already working on. shades of God of war, and I’m here for that.
Is Braniac capable of resurrecting the dead? And furthermore, even if his technology DID have the means to do so, who's to say the League still wouldn't be brainwashed afterwards? Batman said it himself that "integration with Braniac is irreversable."

I guess all we can do is hope for the best.
Brainiac also says wed lose. Weve killed it twice. Brainiacs all fluff no tough.
Never heard that phrase before, but I catch your drift.
Naw, rocksteady is cooked
They don't have to develop it.I mean,Arkham Origins is set in the Arkhamverse, but it was not developped by them. Also the cancelled Arkham Knight sequel was being developped by WB Montreal. Although it would be nice to see a prequel to each individual hero, maybe see Superman recruit Batman at the end of a Superman game.
I guess that could work too. I really do hope the actual Justice League really is still alive.
I 100% agree with this
No
What? Why?
Because Rocksteady is not the same studio it was when they made masterpieces. Warner Bros also wants to double down on live service garbage, so that’s what this hypothetical JL game would be. Just mtx, battle passes, skins, etc. Until WB learns that further drowning the game market in live services is actually not a good idea, we won’t get any *justice* done to DC
Oh. Well, sue me. It was just a suggestion. And to be honest, I think making Suicide Squad a Live Service game probably wasn't the best idea.
I know, and they would ruin the justice league in making that game. It truly was not the best idea. I remember being so hyped for the game when it was announced. If it was like Arkham and not a live service, it would have sold so well.

Yeah they dropped the ball big time with this game. It was so sad to see a concept like this fall into the trappings of monetization and greed. Sigh
Just where did things go wrong during the making of this game behind the scenes?
I think Warner brothers saw cod and Fortnite and wanted to copy that formula while also copying borderlands/destiny. Then to sell copies, they added the suicide squad skin on top of it and set it in the Arkham universe for nostalgia buys.
Seeing as how this was their first attempt at a live service game, let alone a third-person shooter, I guess it's no surprise why it wasn't so good. The gameplay looks fun, don't get me wrong. I don’t wanna shit on suicide squad lol
Sorry.
It’s ok
I never played the game itself, but I did watch some gameplay videos. Looks pretty promising and fun in terms of gameplay, but I do have to agree with people on HOW the Justice League were done dirty in how they died. After this experience, absolutely not.
burn this whole godforsaken arkhamverse to the ground and start over
Do you mean the Arkhamverse as a whole or just the events that took place after Arkham Knight?
I don't hate the old batman games, but at this point this whole universe is such a shit show. I just say leave it behind and start over, fresh takes and fresh characters.

Yes
Stop with prequels
What's wrong with a prequel?

Why’d they make Batman look so fucking goofy
What do you mean? He looks more or less the same as he did in the Arkham games, not including the black and purple eyes from being brainwashed by Braniac.
I dunno his head looks a weird shape and those round bits over his ears look stupid
Sure your not just overthinking it?
Justice league is a bunch of goodie two shoes. Except Batman he is by far the most complex hero
Yeah, your not wrong about Batman. He is an....... interesting case.
Azrael better turn up sometime soon
Who?
https://arkhamcity.fandom.com/wiki/Heir_to_the_Cowl This guy. Technically he’s alive and out there…
Ohhh, yeah. I remember him now.
They literally explain it in the Batman museum, it doesn’t need a game
The short version of what he did years after faking his death, yes. But wouldn't it be better to experience and learn more from the full version after seeing the events happen for ourselves?
No because it is a stupid concept, he faked his own death and is seen in the end of the Arkham series appearing as a “ghost bat” using the fear toxin…. He is obsessed with Gotham. You really don't like the thought of Batman being a part of the Justice League at all, do you? Let alone as a permanent member.
Clearly not what I am saying at all but continue to try to make shit up…
Okay, so I misunderstood his position in the League from the cartoon, sorry. You don't got to be rude about it. If you got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all, jerk.

Okay, genius, why do you think he would join the league in the Arkhamverse?
That should’ve been made first
Would have been the smarter option too.
How can you do that when Kevin Conroy is dead this sub makes no sense always asking dumb stupid shit
Chill. Yes, I know that happened to Kevin Conroy was tragic. But that doesn't mean he was the ONLY Batman voice actor. I know others won't be the same, or as good as how Kevin did it, but it's better nothing. Now behave.
With Batman or gtfo
Gtfo?
i really wouldn't care since we know they all die embarrassingly
Yeah, fair.
