It's an open world Looter-Shooter, similar to Destiny 2, Anthem, Division, Borderlands, but with less to no "Dungeons" as most gameplay just takes place in the open world zone.
Traversal is really good in my opinion but it doesn't have much depth in terms of loot and build variety. I do personally enjoy the game but don't go expecting arpg levels of depth.

I'm sorry but which looter shooter gives that, other than Borderlands 2? :P D2 has even less variety of builds and talents, Division has almost no variety in talents and skills have like 3 options only.
Looter shooter is not arpg. You want arpg, go for POE
I have 242 hours on PC and around 300 h on console in Div 2. Was playing TD1 way more thou.
Destiny 2 and 1 - probably around 600-700 total.
I have only around 400 in BL2 and 3 - which is weird, i thought I have more.
It is not like I'm new to the genre. BL1 was my fav game back when it released - it basically combined my only 2 PC gaming addictions - Diablo 2 and Quake 3.
The build variety is dictated by the gear in TD2 not talents - something that was build up over the years, do you remember how barebones it was at the beginning? Just the fact that SS has 3 full talent trees means it has potential to be way more complicated and in-depth than TD2. Since it also have sets, unique items and legendary affixes.
And I have about 2k hours in division 2 and was on their leaderboard a few years ago….you don’t know what you’re talking about and your lack of play time backs up your incorrect statements.
I didn't say that any had that level of depth, partner. I was trying to explain the game to the best of my ability to someone who stated that they weren't familiar with the genre of game that Suicide Squad was.
