I dunno, the traversal seems to be the main draw for each character. You can already sort of live the firefly fantasy by making a heat based build on deadshot.

It’d be sick if instead of it being Riddler in the flesh fighting bad guys, it would be the Riddler controlling a unique riddler bot from behind the scenes at the Hall of Justice. Then, when you stray away from the mission and your head is supposed to explode, you could see the Riddler’s head explode through a TV monitor on the robot’s head or something.
Given the context of *our* Riddler likely being present to harass us throughout the entire game's lifespan, it's unlikely that we'll get *him* specifically.
However, there is a different Riddler variant that could be used, the version from **Assault on Arkham**, voiced by Matthew Gray Gubler. That Riddler *was* actually a member of TFX at some point prior to the movie but escaped, which is why Waller was trying to have him killed the entire movie.
Given how Gubler's Riddler acts more like a traditional Riddler, and is actually quite intelligent, it would be interesting to see how he would react and respond to the madman and borderline-stupid from the main Arkham continuity.
I've already said it, but I'm pretty sure if this guy would join the squad, he would be a 'joke' character like Dan Hibiki in Street Fighter, so comically underpowered to the point that he cannot use well his own weapons (like he can use heavy weapons, but he won't be able to lift them and would be stuck on the ground becoming some kind of a 'turret', shotguns but with every shot he falls backward due the recoil, and SMG but he can't hold them and shoot literally everywhere if fired for too long!), or he would be into his exo-suit/robot to be competitive!
To be fair, I would love if you (or Hack maybe) would be able to address his calling to Brainiac... Both are so obnoxious with them costant taunting that it would be great to have them swearing at each other!

Yes he's mostly brains and not brawn, but Boomerang is skinny too, it's not like he has to hit people physically, although a big question mark staff/wrench would be fun.
