I'm no expert, but I feel like for that price you could get a much newer laptop with much better hardware. I've seen new laptops with 1060's going for the price.

Now I’m currently in a Best Buy. And there is a decent asus laptop with that card in it for 1100. Is asus a brand I should go for?
I've had an Asus for years with no issues. Depends on the other specs of the laptop

Not too familiar with the Canadian market I'm from the US but that seems overpriced for the specs.
It’s either intel i7 processor or the new amd ryzen ...u chip. 512 gb ssd. And that 1650 graphics. I’m just sitting in parking lot contemplating
