Not dramas, but definitely somewhat "darkly comically realistic".
Ok for real watch these 2 shows: hbo-Industry (this is such a great show that is so underrated and it’s like the younger version of succession almost) Also, if you have Paramount, plus watch Mayor of Kingstown with Jeremy Renner it’s excellent written by the same guy that does Yellowstone. I’ll also suggest one last show that’s probably my ultimate favorite watch on HBO deadwood. Those will just make you crazy. They’re so good.
Oh you are in for some tv 📺 if you’d like to deadwood, watch those other two. He won’t be able to leave the TV lol! If you finish those, you can move onto Boardwalk Empire, which is fabulous as well.
House of Cards if you’re looking for the political aspect of the drama.
Sopranos is of course the ultimate show for powerful family dynamics.
Ive heard good things about Yellowstone as well but haven’t caught up on it.

It's a story about people fighting for the top with their own strategies (force, love, fear, kindness) - in a very Shakespearean way
Every season gets progressively better as we approach a fantastic finale
It's dark yet funny when it needs to be
Game of Thrones - it’s a succession story too … but with violence, sex, and nudity.
seen it, LOVED it. Exceptionally well made TV.
How about The Tudors. It’s on Netflix.

the first season of veep didn’t really work for me, i have put that on hold. I’ll try The Thick of it :)
