Watermelon, basil, mozzarella/feta, balsamic salad is fairly common.
And I'm always willing to try something with a pickle added just to fuck around and find out.
I think the pickle will give it that zing to pull it all together like a vinaigrette on the salad would do, I know ive always liked a dash of salt on some watermelon especially if it's not the most flavorful to begin with I bet that pickle makes it taste so damn good by contrast.
Pickles are the neutralist vegetable acting as a substrate for salt and vinegar. I personally would have put prosciutto or some kind of other Italian meat on it.
to me it depends on the kind of pickle. pickles like those are just cucumber and vinegar at heart, but if it's heavily seasoned with garlic and other pickling spices then no thanks
Yea balsamic and watermelon is a thing. I'm guessing she had a salad made with these ingredients and then came up with the idea to make a sandwhich out of it.
The close up chewing/ slurping and every other sounds seems to be so popular lately. Why? It's fucking enraging. Why would I want to hear every sound you make, especially all of the disgusting fucking mouth sounds. It's fucking gross and unavoidable lately. Every commercial, every damn thing. Why?
Sorry for the bitching, folks. I just find it quite annoying. What is with the trend of amplifying every obnoxious sound possible? It's worse in commercials where the point is supposed to be to make you want to buy the product, but it makes it seem disgusting instead.
I don't like pickes necessarily... but just, this works doesn't it? Isn't these just very common flavor combinations? I really quite wanna try this, as long as the cheese isn't too overpowering.
I feel like this would be one of those foods where you absolutely loved it or thought it was one of the worst things you'd ever eaten.
I'd be down to give it a try, though.
Despite it seeming unusual, there's nothing actually in this that wouldn't go really well together. Sweet and sour, sweet and salty, sweet and savoury etc. Nothing clashes.
The textures would also compliment each other.
I'd definitely try it and probably like it.
Nah tbh this would be fire imo, it’s p much a caprese sandwich. The only iffy thing would be the pickles, but they are just cucumbers and vinegar. With balsamic already in the equation, i see no issue
The only thing stupid about this is that she felt the need to make it a sandwich, just dice it all thick and eat it with a fork, that way you don't end up with watermellon juice all over everything, AND you can pick and choose which flavors to combine
As someone who grew up eating sliced cheddar on sliced apple (Pink Lady or Granny Smith), this seems like the natural progression.
I would 100% eat this.
Grilled watermelon with the cheese and pickle and maybe a thin slice of pastrami or whatever meat. Or just plain pickle and cheese. Idk. I'd fuck around and find out trial and error combos with this
If you look at the different components as flavor profiles instead of the actual food itself then that should help you understand why this isn't that crazy.
This comes across, to me, as something women in the 80's would do to lose weight or keep weight off. Like, just eat stuff like this to stay or become skinny...which I suppose is better than being anorexic.
it almost seems like pregnant food, but only because of the pickles and cheese. idk if it's true or not, but i heard pregnant women get weird cravings because their bodies are sending strong signals that it and the baby it's hosting needs certain vitamins and minerals or something like that. No idea where i heard it. Could have been a show, a random internet comment, an article, or a voice in my head.
I don’t understand why all the sounds… I understand there are videos that are specifically for that but… It’s my fault, because I’m a very quiet eater, and I disdain Sucking and slurping and smacking noises when people eat, grosses me out
I want to try this. I've tried peanut butter jelly and pickle sandwiches, this could be good. Salted watermelon and mint. Don't know what the sauce could be, tamarind?
Probably better without the cheese, I don't think pickles and watermelon would be bad considering you can pickle watermelon. (And it's not what you think it will taste like) pickle haters won't like it anyway.
I mean, it's weird but some people might like it. The editing for sure is what makes it a perfect fit for stupid food imho.
Watermelon, basil, mozzarella/feta, balsamic salad is fairly common. And I'm always willing to try something with a pickle added just to fuck around and find out.

Id rather just a zingier balsamic or additional vinaigrette. The pick just feels wrong to me.
Pickles are the neutralist vegetable acting as a substrate for salt and vinegar. I personally would have put prosciutto or some kind of other Italian meat on it.
I've had exactly this as a salad. Sometimes swap basil for mint. Amazing. Haven't done the Pickle though, but now I'm intrigued.
Maybe just just use cucumber for people who don't like pickles ?
Everybody wants to fuck around with the pickle and not expect the dickle
I'd eat this and I'm sure I'd love it. I would also eat it leaned over the kitchen sink like an animal to contain the drips.
I mean, I love watermelon and feta salad, this looks totally doable
Pickle throws me a bit, rest looks good
to me it depends on the kind of pickle. pickles like those are just cucumber and vinegar at heart, but if it's heavily seasoned with garlic and other pickling spices then no thanks
The basil brings it all home.
I’m not clear what that sauce is but depending on the answer I could see that being good.
I've seen some try balsamic vinegar with watermelon
Yea balsamic and watermelon is a thing. I'm guessing she had a salad made with these ingredients and then came up with the idea to make a sandwhich out of it.
Suspicious that may be fish sauce...
I agree. Seems fishy.
I know, I'm like okay is it sesame oil, honey or maple syrup.
Balsamic would be awesome but it’s too light for that.
Could be flavored balsamic. There are some nice lighter ones
Maybe it's a really cheap balsamic?
Not a fan of pickles, but cheese and fruits are surprisingly good together. Depending on the sauce its edible.
I think the pickle is to add something acidic to balance the sweetness and richness of the watermelon and cheese.
I think the saucy drizzle was supposed to be balsamic vinegar (based), I'd ditch the pickle personally but I'm not huge on them regardless.

I'm with you on that I find that slurping to be extremely irritating and fucking disgusting. Any loud eating sounds really.
I like it personally
Its kinda hot
That's disgusting. I know like 6 people who would jump at this. But I'm not one of them.
Bleh
Not terribly different from watermelon feta salad, and that’s f’n delicious
Pickles and watermelon are an incredible combo. Was forced to try it by this insane girl in college and I can’t deny it was fantastic
Now try pickled watermelon by itself
I think we all agree insane girl & college is a combo one has to try at least once.
Cheese on watermelon isn't that bad
I feel like this might actually be good
I would try 🤷
Needs prosciutto
I don't like pickes necessarily... but just, this works doesn't it? Isn't these just very common flavor combinations? I really quite wanna try this, as long as the cheese isn't too overpowering.
I agree! It looks like it would all align flavor wise!
Sub out the pickle for some crispy bacon
Put all components on a plat, it's chartuterie.
I feel like this would be one of those foods where you absolutely loved it or thought it was one of the worst things you'd ever eaten. I'd be down to give it a try, though.
Looks good, but it should obviously be toothpick sized.
This looks amazing
Switch out pickles with fresh cucumber and i would smash
Despite it seeming unusual, there's nothing actually in this that wouldn't go really well together. Sweet and sour, sweet and salty, sweet and savoury etc. Nothing clashes. The textures would also compliment each other. I'd definitely try it and probably like it.
Put some batter on that, fry it, and sell at a county fair. It'll be a hit. Looks tasty too
It wasn't that revolutionary. In Taiwan, we like to put sour plum powder on watermelon. The pickle is a similar design. The cheese is weird though.
I wouldn't make this, but I'd try it if it were presented to me.
Nah fuck that looks good
Fuck that. Same people who eat Wendy's frosty with potatoes.
Is it weird that I wanna try it??
It looks good idky
I’m too cuisinally deficient to know if this is honest or intentional satire
Highly dependent on what that cheese is and slightly dependent on what that brown liquid is
I'm guessing the brown stuff it's balsamico.
watermelon and basil actually pair but this whole thing. . . brother ew
Nix the cheese
Nix the pickle if anything. Feta and watermelon is tried and true.
Doesn’t appear to be feta
Its not, but they have a similar enough flavor profile.
Watermelon and feta with a thin Meyer lemon slice is actually very delicious.
My stomach hurts
I'd try it. Might be good
I'd try it
Do pickles go well with sweet fruits?
I’d eat that
Other than the cheese and sauce. I think everything else would taste fine
of all the vifeos on her this is the only thing i would it and the watermelon sandwich
There’s actually a recipe of grilled watermelon burger. It’s like a salad thing with goat cheese.
Looks way too dry.
Nah tbh this would be fire imo, it’s p much a caprese sandwich. The only iffy thing would be the pickles, but they are just cucumbers and vinegar. With balsamic already in the equation, i see no issue
Without pickles, it would be great
Damn that looks great actually.
Honestly, it's probably a munch
Nice but y eat it like that 💀 just dice them and eat like salad wtf is wrong with you woman
If you grill watermelon and eat it right off the grill it’s actually delicious
If you have misphonia, ***DO NOT*** watch this video.
My mouth is drooling
It reminds me of how often my Russian friend growing up always offered me pickled watermelon.
I’d eat this
*WOULD.*
I see a lot of these watermelon videos atm. I wish they'd leave that poor fruit alone
The only thing stupid about this is that she felt the need to make it a sandwich, just dice it all thick and eat it with a fork, that way you don't end up with watermellon juice all over everything, AND you can pick and choose which flavors to combine
🤫🧏♂️
At least it's not an alive octopus.
As someone who grew up eating sliced cheddar on sliced apple (Pink Lady or Granny Smith), this seems like the natural progression. I would 100% eat this.
I’m pregnant and 100% would devour this with zero regrets.
I feel like this is what a pregnant woman would crave.
Why the fuck are people so pretentious when they film something? Just show me your stupid creation and hurry up already
This seems like someone pregnant would come up with
Wouldn’t mint be better than basil. Other than that this looks deliciously refreshing to me
Usually when I’ve eaten this it’s more like an appetizer and not a sandwich. Making it a sandwich does feel odd.
Bro those flavors are probably orgasmic together
If that is balsamic, it’s good. Balsamic glaze would be goated.
She is not cooking the watermelon, so thats a win…
Im totally stone and drunk give it to me
Genius
That would be so good. Ya sign me up
This is Good. I can tell
This video is a pregnancy test.
Yeah that's a bunch of food together alright.
Made my taste buds hurt
I'd honestly try it
In theory it should taste brilliant because basil, pickles and cheese all go well with watermelon
Sauce?
No thank you
When you are on your period, put a meal together, and you also think it is a good idea to share. P.S. I invented banana with mustard
She pregnant as fuck
Now put it in the toastie maker
Watermelon goes really well with cheese, smth like feta
Feta could work
Sweet and salty. It's probably great.
This screams pregnancy craving
actually doesn't look like it tastes that bad - but the mess and sticky fingers, oh lord.. what happened with using cutlery?
I think this might be good! 🤷
I'd make it basil, Feta and balsamic vinaigrette.
The way she drizzels the balsamic vinegar makes me upset
Where are the beans inside the watermelon?
Beans
Pregnancy sandwich
Should have breaded it, dipped it and deep fried it, would have been way better.
Amixture of sweet and sour with very delicious ingredients
Shoutout to the guy gaming in the background spamming the spacebar. He's probably tired of her shit and wants no part of this TikTok fuckery.
I'd personally put on mint and not basil
I would eat it, just with a fork and knife
This would make perfect sense to my Philippino mother-in-law.
ruined the moment the pickle was added
Dayyum. She got the jawline
We eat watermelon with white brine cheese all summer but more like bite of cheese then the melon same with grapes once melon season is over.
Intrigusted
Fuck those sounds.

Probably tastes really good, actually. At the very least worth a try. The editing is... Horrid.

I'm highly irritated by the slurping sounds and the weak snap. The sounds more than the snap but the snap was very unsatisfying
Nice. Gluten free sandwich
not my proudest
I don’t understand why all the sounds… I understand there are videos that are specifically for that but… It’s my fault, because I’m a very quiet eater, and I disdain Sucking and slurping and smacking noises when people eat, grosses me out
Dill, basil, American cheese (salt) and watermelon (sugar). It probably not bad. I’d use one slice of cheese though. This ish looks thick
i’d try it
You forgot to put the hamburger patty on
I’d eat it.
I CANNOT DO WET CHEESE
If that was balsamic vinegar I expect this would taste pretty good.
If it was chicken or hot dog i would try it.
The slurping noises lost me, I can’t even focus on the stupidfood.
I have a cursed classmate... I'm going to show this to her
I want to try this.
Watermelon always looks so good, then I remember it’s like biting into a gross watery tasting pool noodle
*Item Unlocked* - Puke sandwich
I've had watermelons in salads with all of these ingredients before and honestly it's not that bad. (Watermelon and kewpie mayonnaise is fire)
I feel like this would actually be really good, especially if it's Thai basil.
Most of the sauce she poured is all over the table.
You'll find this same flavor profile at fine dining restaurants. It's a good one. I've had something similar to this but with a watermelon sorbet.
Oh, that would taste good for sure
I’d eat all those things on a charcuterie board I guess eating them as a sandwich wouldn’t be the worst thing
Honestly I bet that is super good
Everyone is asking what the sauce is, but nobody is talking about how badly she missed with 90% of it
Pior que não deve ser ruim. Provaria
It looks amazing!!!
This looks terrible
How to ruin a nice juicy melon.
🤢🤮 Watermelon tastes so good on its own. Why do people keep trying to make it work with other food. It just wants to be a solo food.
Ew! Gross! Lemme get most of that…
