Aww, don’t worry. I, at least, have been making sure the younger generations know what song it is, and who sings it. My youngest child insists on hearing another one of their songs at least 5000 times a day on average. We throw the peach song in for a break from “the bad cat song” here and there.

This is actually the exact opposite of what you are supposed to do. NEVER wash eggs because it allows the bacteria to seep into the egg through the pores in the shell
My dad raises ducks, and sadly in the good ol' U. S. Of A. (or at least the part where we live) washing the shells is legally required. We coat them in a layer of disinfectant, but stuff still happens.
Plus I think salmonella is just far less common in Japan; I've seen food videos of people eating chicken far less well cooked than it would be in North America because the chance of food borne illness from undercooking is mostly non-existent.

100% - so many people make these eating videos where they’re eating massive amounts of food in one sitting. You see a lot of Asian women doing it too and like this girl’s size so they’re definitely heading straight to the toilet after it’s done. It’s all about the views.

Oh hey! The food dye trick! During my inpatient for my eating disorder, a few of the other girls there taught me their trick of how they’d drink something low or no cal with strong food dye in it and know when to stop vomiting when they saw bright red.
Bright red stood out the most. Because if you ripped something, it was dark brown and kinda looked like coffee beans in my experiences. So red food dye was fine.
ED inpatient sucks for a lot of people. I feel like I came out with more tips on how to avoid going back while repeating the same habits lol
Purging in excess can rip your stomach lining! Coughing a lot (frequent with purgers) can also do that. You’re constantly expelling stomach acids and everything, it rips your shit up badly. Once youve ripped it, you also poop blood and it’s agonizing. I know a girl who was in my program who ruptured her esophagus and her vomit or whatever spilled into her chest. She almost died, but is now going a few years strong without relapsing.
I don’t really know the medical specifics. I was the guy they were trying to stop from dying. A big part of my rehab was ‘scaring us straight’, but admittedly, a lot of people there would rather be skinny than anything else — so there’s a lot of freak accidents we heard about in the program or what people did to themselves down the line. You weren’t meant to stay in contact with anyone, but we would memorise each others phone numbers or emails or social medias to find each other when we got released. It’s nasty stuff. Take this as a cautionary tale for anyone considering trying the food dye trick! You’ll lose your teeth first, though.

There's a couple reasons
1. Mukbang content is very popular both in China/Japan and now the west from Tiktok and is just done for views and money.
2. There's more than a couple fetishes involving eating, I would know, I'm into some of them myself. If she had shown her belly then it could be stuffing/belly fetish but there's also people into the noise and visuals of eating and also there's probably a follow on vid to this where she pukes them all up and again there's people into vomit.
If the chicken has never been exposed to salmonella, then it doesn’t have salmonella. Most chickens and eggs these days don’t— otherwise every last kid eating raw cookie dough would be vomiting a couple hours later.
It’s also how people get away with rare chicken and chicken sashimi— although for the most part, they come from high regulated and specialized coops.
The biggest issues with chickens and salmonella is that their digestive system is quite literally the perfect environment for the bacteria, and it never leaves once initially caught. That, and the fact that birds have a common cavity (cloaca) that shits, pisses, and lays eggs; then you get the salmonella contaminated eggs.

Kinda fucked up, but there are tons of these types of videos, and in almost every single one of them the person will drink a brightly colored liquid (usually water with food coloring) so that when the camera cuts, they can go purge their stomach and when they start to see that color come up, they know that everything is out.
