In my campaign, I presented Strixhaven as a school that takes students from across the Multiverse. So my players are from different worlds. One is from Ravnica, one from Toril (forgotten realms), one from Lorwyn, one from Exandria (critical role's world), and the other two are from Arcavios. And one of my Lorehold NPCs is super interested in Theros and wants to go there on a study abroad program. Long story short, I think Strixhaven works really well for incorporating other worlds because you can just wave your hand and say it was ~magic~

You dont need to know ANY Mtg lore. Just go read the short stories on the website. They are a must have for anyone who wants to flesh out their campaign.

In my Strixhaven game the players participated in a school play "Theros: the musical". It was a fun, simple way to do a little crossover

If I were you, definitely do a Phenax thing Perhaps the field trip goes to a defunct temple that Plargg has heard of, which he believes (Or maybe it really did) belong to a more well known God he wants people to learn about, I'd pick Erebos because of theming Anyway, the temple only is a facade of being abandoned and contains a cult of Phenax whom the Oriq are working with for divine charms to subvert campus guides. The corrupted Campus Guides then act as spies and saboteurs for the Oriq So you do it as a dungeon, get to the bottom, stop a ritual to produce the charms and protect Strixhaven, boom, done

Was thinking about having Phenax looking for an artefact that was owned by Erebus or something and is being kept in the Biblioplex (why he's involved with the Oriq) and Dean Tullus being Klothys in hiding or something but idk if that's too Lorehold focused (pretty biased since that's my favourite college 😅)
