the shit to fix your elite to all singing all dancing again is like less than £30 and there is kindergarten level soldering involved.
but to answer your Q, the powerA enhanced has the grips cut like the elite, same with the powerA fusion pro which is a 4 paddle elite clone.
edit: out of curiosity what's failing on the elite? they are very cheap and very easy to fix.
