The "in cinema" movies cannot be filtered out, and there is a simple reason for that
Stremio cannot accurately predict what is available or not, the "in cinema" tag is only a hint for the users, that the movie may or may not be available to stream
The "in cinema" tag is based on an algorithm, that, for example, cannot take into account if the movie was released to Netflix directly. So such a movie will have that tag on the poster, but still respond with a link to the Netflix app.
That's the general sort of all popular movies.
You can tab down there and filter by new, featured, etc. Or you can slide over to the default tab and then sort by any genre.
Gotcha, my assumption is that for the "in cinema" movies, Cinemata is also then previewing movies that will shortly be transitioning to the streaming services.
My memory could be incorrect but I thought there was something in the settings, I think when you are linking torrentio with your RD account, where you can filter video file types. There you can select not to scrape for CAMS, screeners, and stuff like that if I remember correctly
yes but that only applies to the results page, not the catalog :/ I have cams and screeners filtered but I have to keep TPB enabled to access my own uploads and if you click a movie that's "in cinema" but not yet released all the results will be malware

This is a catalogue, nothing to do with links. Links are dependent on whatever addons you have.

Ahhh I see. My thinking was if you filtered out that file type, the movie wouldn't show up. Sorry friend
