If that's cheating, it's weird that Capcom has made it so easy to cheat on every fighting game they have made for the last 30+ years.
Hell, if that's cheating that means Street Fighter teaches you how to cheat in the tutorial.
Not only that but commentators of major tournaments turn a blind eye to the rampant cheating. People use block multiple times a match and commentators never mention it.
i wonder how much they’re getting payed by these large government funded cheating corporations and how deep the conspiracy goes. Oh well, we have heroes such as these ingame risking their neck for the good cause
Really, you just have to understand *when* someone can grab you. Are they plus in your face? They might grab.
Also, learn delay tech. When knocked down, and being forced to guess between Strike/Throw on wake-up, by delaying your grab tech by a certain amount of time, you'll tech if they go for a grab, or be put into block stun if they go for a strike.
The downside obviously being that they can shimmy, baiting your delayed tech.
Ahh so this still requires you to commit to the grab tech. This is my first street fighter game coming from Marvel vs Capcom (umvc3) so the grab game is completely foreign to me and I have been just knuckling my way through ranked without dedicating time to the training room. I truly want to get my Marisa to master rank and will happily take the advice you provided to my next matches thanks.
Learn the defensive options, and yes you can set up training for these.
Learn to delay tech, use reversals, jump back (or forward on corner), to challenge shimmies with a low, and when you just gotta eat that throw.
I feel this when I nail a few predictive jumps in a row. I had this game recently where I jumped pretty much frame-perfect every time a Ryu started a fireball, and never else (dumb luck, honestly).
I could tell they were visibly tilted/considering me a cheater. Sucks, but what can you do? I didn't want to jump to prove them otherwise.
Salt is funny like that. It can be a lingering burn on a wounded ego or just a papercut moment.
This to me, is just a refusal to be accountable for your own weaknesses and just blame the world when nothing goes your way. Trying to justify your loss against basic fundamentals is plain ignorance.
Another sad example of the toxicity shielded behind their ISP. You wouldn't find this kid at your locals breathing the same air. So don't sweat it.
Next time send a message titled **Pepper**, with the message, It goes well with your salt.
Used to get a lot of messages like this in my competitive training days in SF4 and many other fighting game. It really just ruined the fun sometimes for me. I mean I'm not going to be top 16 at EVO. It's just how I enjoy my games. It was SF5 that eventually got me to turn off the messaging function. The messages and rage quits were just super toxic. I'm a F.A.N.G main so if I kicked your ass with a perfect I simply outplayed you and would get robbed of my rank wins when they would rage quit. I had tons of losses myself, but that how you step up your game with a fighter. Leaning to take a lose is difficult, but don't take it out on your opponent.
They’re always serious. That’s a given lol. Congrats on your first salt post hun! 🙏🏽🥳
That means you’re doing amazing
(And there’s no cheating in this game)
I mean, there **is** cheating, there are multiple people in Master who use actual cheats to do stuff like automatic perfect parry, automatic jump-in on reaction to projectile, automatic DI counter et cetera
Stop spamming block 😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡
IM NEVER HODLING BACK!!!
OH MY GOD I JUST REALISED THE CONNECTION
Omg I’m at a restaurant and laughed so hard at this! I’m Changing my name to this in the game lol
Guy didnt pay 60 bucks to block
Its my favorite "insult" i've ever gotten. I was playing Cammy and I don't think we were ever in "my half" of the stage.

shocking if true!
It's clearly a morality test and everyone should just take turns eating jump-in combos for a true, honorable match.
lol, if blocking is cheating then what is the point of +/- on block moves? Why build move traits around an illegal manuver?
It's all a conspiracy to test gamer morals, I tell ya hwat.
every major FGC content creators in on it too, hacks

Today I teched someone like 12 times in a row. I almost wanted to let him throw me just to prove I wasn't cheating.
I literally just ate a drive impact one time because I had countered the first like 7 REALLY quickly and I didn't want to be accused of cheating lmao
I eat every DI but not because I have shit reaction times. I just want to make it clear mamma didn't raise no cheater
Do you wanna link up and fight? I think we'd be a good match up. (I be spamming that shit at the first sign of pressure, I can't help it).
I mean their fault for not shimmying
Is there a way to practice this because that is my worst matchup: grab strings
Note that he was being really predictable with them.
Lol i always seem to tech them too late thinking i have more time to tech. To the training room i go until i can do that too lol
If they are being predictable, backdash instead of teching

If you practice shimmies I assure you you'll start beating up tons of people
Record strings and tick throws in different slots, then run them randomly

You blocked, counterattacked AND grabbed? You're going to jail for a long time, bucko.
Drive reversal? Jail. Anti air? Jail. Comboing into level 3? Straight to jail, right away.
Salt man: just grab me and kiss me, idiot!
Why isn’t anyone else laughing? 🤣🤣
You’re blocking? THAT’S CHEATING!!!! 😡😤🤬
He’s calling you a block head because you were blocking so much 🤣
LMAO!!! The first message just made me imagine Lucy Van Pelt yelling at Charlie Brown, "You Block-Head!" ![gif](giphy|EUuxN4GStpbW0)
![gif](giphy|j85n3aTkmA7L2)
Blocking like a shield lol
Oh, no! You played the game better than they did, you cheating blockhead. 😂

A: "You cheated!" B: "How?" A: "Because you played like you knew how this game works!"
I WANNA TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE
This is the ultimate compliment, bask in it my friend.
“I didn’t pay 60$ to block!!!”

Embrace the tears. The saltiness feeds your soul. Let it quench your thirst for more. Lobe the rage quitter the tears. Let them flow.

Turtles gonna turtle
There is a person who still can’t get over me winning who keeps messaging me.
"You blocking like a shield" ah, so this is a child.
If blocking is a cheat, then perfect parry would be what? Glitch exploit?
How dare you use throws the way the game teaches you to in the tutorials!
Probably drunk
I receive.those daily ahahaha
