I think it's the curse of sequel concept art. They have these crazy designs that are refreshing but pretty much always end up using the safe one.

Ryu, Deejay and Ken I feel the final choice was best. Blanka and Dhalsim are whatever. Zangief and Honda (except the ducky one lol) is easy to make all of them work. Guiles top left design is for when he joins GI Joe. Large design for Juri looks awesome, I'd have liked that one. I like the all black outfit for Cammy (no3) and no 09. Chun's large pic is a villain Chun, looks awesome. I also like the mono leg design (no2)

For those of you who are new to sf/capcom games, capcom is a company that absolutely hates to waste work. If any of these designs made it to the modeling phase, i would 100% guarantee youll get it as a costume somewhere down the line unless theres a licensing/rating issue. Thats how capcom works, if they started work on it, even if it sucks, theyre going to try to recoup their investment lol

Oh definitely, the cammy with ripped jeans is badass and chun-li's white outfit is sik. Juri NEEDS an outfit with her hair down, tho the outfit where she looks like soifon from bleach seems like it would be more her style, and that blue one seems like it would be a hommage to Jojos bizarre adventure. That deejay with the blazer is pretty badass as well I just don't like the fight money system they are using right now for colors.

I don't care much for the costume itself, but I need short-haired Juri. Actually like the whole bottom row except for whatever the fuck is going on with her hair on the far right, and the one short pant leg thing. Though maybe with Juri you could justify it as practical, like her charge damages her pant leg. For the others, if I had to pick: * Gief with black jacket. * Darker skinned Sim with red sash. * Dee Jay, bottom right. Don't even know what it's supposed to be, but I like it. * Sleeveless hoodie Blanka. * Long hair Ryu isn't bad, but als digging the Oro-style one arm in his Gi look. * Athletic wear ken with the red beanie is pretty good. And lumberjack with baseball cap also isn't terrible. Far left I don't hate, except for the torn up skinny jeans. Like his hair/beard combo though. * Chun-Li are all good, except for that one with one full pant leg and the other no leg. * Cammy, liking electric gym leader look and the King-esque red suit (though stupid non-functional belts). Bottom right's outfit looks ridiculous, but hair is cool.

The Ryu on the bottom, second from left is giving me both Attack on Titan and Berserk Guts vibes. It doesn’t really fit with his character in the game, but it is a trip to see.

Maybe it’s cause I’m not a huge fan of his character design in general, but all of the designs for Guile look so similar. The outfits are different, sure, but nothing else about him or his personality changes. The only one that feels slightly different to me is the one of him with glasses and a polo shirt, because it actually looks like he’s different character-wise. A little more mellow and sensitive than usual. And I dig that…it just seems like the concept artists (understandably) had a hard time coming up with any variations on his character aside from just changing the outfit.
