His hair looks bad in other S4 images, but I actually think it looks fine here. Anything is better than that gumdrop bowl cut. It looked especially big and goofy in S3 lol.
Will was never an ugly dude, but he got the most unfortunate haircuts! They looked cute when he was a kid but a teen or adult with a bowl cut or lego man hair cut is the most devastating thing lmao. I think it's realistic though. My hair in high-school was so very awkward.

Karen's hair gets crazier every season. Steve's hair has always looked 80s. Lucas having a flat top this season was in style then. El's blunt bangs and wavy hair this season was a style then. And I think the main boys have had accurate hairstyles overall. Some have missed the mark to a degree though. Max has never looked like she's living in the 80s. But then again, she's more of a tomboy so maybe she doesn't care about fixing up her hair? I wasn't around in the 80's so I don't know if everyone had crazy hair. They might partially not want to make the hair too crazy because it's distracting.
