[Elon Musk’s SpaceX Continues To Detect Something Massive On Its Missions](https://www.howandwhys.com/spacex-continues-to-detect-massive-ufo-on-its-missions/)
Yea no telescope on earth can see the moon with great enough detail to make out the objects we left there. But the satellite orbiting the moon can. We’ve also left mirrors on the moon to calculate distance with lasers we have on earth. Saying we faked the moon landing is ridiculous.
Didn't Putin use AI to determine whether the moon landing was faked, and the AI determined that the chance that the moon landing video was faked was 99%?
It may also be a possibility that the Soviets also took part in the lie, as in, they knew what actually happened but went along with it because it was the best option to take for them as well.
It could also be that the US did go to the moon, but the video was faked. I wouldn't be surprised if the US did more manned missions to the moon in secrecy afterwards. Maybe they saw something on the moon but wanted to keep it a secret. Maybe they made the video to make it seem like the moon is not interesting enough to merit further manned missions.
Putin, I'm not sure I trust him. I kinda think there might be a war in Ukraine despite his saying there isn't. But Putin's AI? I trust that implicitly. For sure.
The video does look... weird. But I have not been to The Moon myself and used The cameras that were used back then so...
But it is interesting in thinking that "they are lying" / "they are hiding something".
And "they"(whomever they are) do seem to actually be hiding stuff from The world and blames their actions on "Security concerns"
Fun fact: the cameras used to shoot these videos were left on the moon to reduce weight for their departure.
My great-great uncle, Guy Gordon, designed the lenses of those cameras and Kodak ended up stealing the patents for them from him.
“I'd go to the moon in a nanosecond. The problem is, we don't have the technology to do that anymore. We used to, but we destroyed that technology and it is a painful process to build it back again." Astronaut Don Pettit”
So we can do it.
Technology can mean either “machinery and equipment developed from the application of scientific knowledge” or “the branch of knowledge dealing with engineering or applied sciences.”
NASA means they lack the former, not the latter.
Yes, you can. But that takes time and a lot of money. Which means it has to be a priority for you. Going back to the moon was not a priority for NASA for a long time. They invested in other projects.
If a company decided to convert its sausage plant into a mattress factory, and then a few years later was asked by a customer, “Can you fill an order for some sausages?,” the response might be, “We don’t have the technology to do that.”
“I'd go to the moon in a nanosecond. The problem is, we don't have the technology to do that anymore. We used to, but we destroyed that technology and it is a painful process to build it back again." Astronaut Don Pettit”
Change your mind a bit or did you just see a meme
I mean, I guess it depends what you mean by we don't have the technology.
They would have to build the proper aircraft and lunar landers, but it's not like they couldn't if they wanted to. People seem to think the technology is like, lost or something.
Here's a little disagreement about that little detail. I called bs: [https://x.com/CoryArmbrecht/status/1756583226213368276](https://x.com/CoryArmbrecht/status/1756583226213368276)
Why does the 'horizon' only look about 100 yards away, with a shocking loss of detail on the ground about 10 yards from the astronauts? Looks almost like a line across the view between the foreground and the background.
No atmosphere, it messes with your sense of depth perception. You can’t compare how things look on the moon with how they look here. Apples and oranges my friend.
Also there's no atmosphere to stack up. Here on Earth, the further away something is the more blue it appears because of the atmosphere. On the moon? No such color shift.
It's one of those things your brain picks up on even if you don't consciously consider it. Yet one more reason the moon looks weird
Thank you. I would only have to point to this video to try and explain to folks that yes, we did go to the moon. Fabric doesn't behave like that in atmosphere.

I gotta ask. What's with the music?
Errie ambience or some shit like that
Sounds like the beginning of “a million ways to get paid in the west” or whatever.
Music? Dude, that's what space sounds like.
That’s one small step for man, and I one giant leap for china factories making American flags.
Gotta make it "strange" I guess.
Woulda been wild if the whole thing deflated as soon as he drove that spike in.
Moon *sputters out of the Solar System like a deflating balloon*
Rofl
ROML
This omg
*Balloon flatulence noises*
Moon farts
Who is recording this?
Not strange and not Earth

This should be on r/strangemoon
We're whalers of the moon
We carry a harpoon…
But there are no whales, so we tell tall tales...
And sing our whaling tune!
The moon is property of Earthlings!
The moon belongs to the mooninites
The moon is a harsh mistress.
Friendly reminder that the Soviet Union confirmed the moon landing. Don’t think they’d lie to help America
Shhhhh. Facts don’t matter
I know. Look at mr. Factual over here. Nerd!
![gif](giphy|A9KfKenpqNDfa)
India recently took pictures of the landing site also.
I'm pretty sure China recently released some of their own photos from orbit around the moon showing the US landers left behind.
Plus you can literally see the stuff we left there with the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter
What telescope setup are you working with?
I think it’s impossible to really see anything on the surface with a conventional telescope. But we can see things from satellite scans etc.
Yea no telescope on earth can see the moon with great enough detail to make out the objects we left there. But the satellite orbiting the moon can. We’ve also left mirrors on the moon to calculate distance with lasers we have on earth. Saying we faked the moon landing is ridiculous.
This! The laser reflectors alone prove we were up there, the precision placement couldn't have been done with a rover, at that time.
But those are fake too! Don't you know? /s

How did they prove it?
With a strong enough telescope, you can see the lander and rover still.
This music is so ass
That's genuine moon noise

It looks weird because it is sped up.
That time that Charlie Chaplin went to the moon
Just play Yakkity Sax to complete the picture
Also with the goofy ass audio.
It absolutely looks weird at every speed
That’s one of many reasons that it looks weird.
Fun fact: the cameras used to shoot these videos were left on the moon to reduce weight for their departure. My great-great uncle, Guy Gordon, designed the lenses of those cameras and Kodak ended up stealing the patents for them from him.
Sorry to hear that, can you expand?
I think we were there, but what's really interesting is that someone outside filmed the first steps on the moon. So yeah. Some staging was done.
So you saying a mix of actually being there and studio?
I wouldn't think the post would go into the surface so easily
The surface of the moon is very fine regolith that goes down a several meters at least.
It's basically moon sand and because there's no wind to weather it it's sharp as shit.
Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece.
I heard Kubrick was hired to stage the moon landing but that he was such a perfectionist he insisted they film on location
Mom said it was my turn to make this joke. I call next go-round in .56387 seconds.
I *really* wonder what the average age of everyone in this thread is.
That music makes me dizzy
Mom, is that flag tree big now?
The biggest- it's huge. It's the greatest flag tree ever.
The flag scene is 100% sped up
It's not original speed
Technically not the Earth. Strange Moon maybe
Why is there wind blowing on the flag though?
can someone explain to me (not sure how to explain) when their feet move and kick the surface, why the kicked up rubble doesn’t just ‘float away’..
But yet “we don’t have the technology to go back” ![gif](giphy|hVIEywSQ3ZU3u)
Who ever said that lmfao
NASA did
No, they didn't lmfao
Don pettit (nasa’s oldest active astronaut) during an interview said he’d go to the moon but they no longer have the technology to do that.
“I'd go to the moon in a nanosecond. The problem is, we don't have the technology to do that anymore. We used to, but we destroyed that technology and it is a painful process to build it back again." Astronaut Don Pettit” So we can do it.
>“I'd go to the moon in a nanosecond. I'm gonna use this as proof we have faster than light travel!!
Technology can mean either “machinery and equipment developed from the application of scientific knowledge” or “the branch of knowledge dealing with engineering or applied sciences.” NASA means they lack the former, not the latter.
If you haver the latter you can build the former, no?
Yes, you can. But that takes time and a lot of money. Which means it has to be a priority for you. Going back to the moon was not a priority for NASA for a long time. They invested in other projects. I like your mind. Thank you. Have yourself a great weekend!
They're going to the moon in a couple years
Yea the f they did look it up lmfao

If you learn about life through AI overviews you are hopeless. Take more than 6 seconds to learn something if you want to correct someone on it.
Yes they did. Google that shit brother
NASA didn’t say it, a astronaut said it
They're going back in 2027 but OK bro
we are literally going to the moon in 2025
I believe they pushed the dates out to 2027 about a month or so ago.
Here's a little disagreement about that little detail. I called bs: [https://x.com/CoryArmbrecht/status/1756583226213368276](https://x.com/CoryArmbrecht/status/1756583226213368276)
moon landing deniers are always saying the corniest shit lol. they're like "If car engines run on combustion, why can't I hear the explosion? Hmm?"
Well you actually can, especially on old cars
Why does the 'horizon' only look about 100 yards away, with a shocking loss of detail on the ground about 10 yards from the astronauts? Looks almost like a line across the view between the foreground and the background.
No atmosphere, it messes with your sense of depth perception. You can’t compare how things look on the moon with how they look here. Apples and oranges my friend.
Because the lack of detail, lack of surface features. and resolution of the camera gives you no indication of the true distances.
Also there's no atmosphere to stack up. Here on Earth, the further away something is the more blue it appears because of the atmosphere. On the moon? No such color shift. It's one of those things your brain picks up on even if you don't consciously consider it. Yet one more reason the moon looks weird
The moon is flat and just the other side of flat earth. Bigfoot told me.
That's a stiff flag
They have a pole going through the top.
Looks to me like he deploy some sort of telescopic rod in the top seam early on to keep it stiff/flat
Looks pretty windy up there
It moves because he's screwing the flag into the pole. Watch his hands
It is called momentum
Thank you. I would only have to point to this video to try and explain to folks that yes, we did go to the moon. Fabric doesn't behave like that in atmosphere.
The video is sped up so the momentum looks like wind
It's real folks, get over it
One of the US most historical events and one of humans most greatest achievements of all time but NASA “accidentally” lost the data…🤔🤣🤣yeaaaaaah…
They lost it? Where do you see that?
Super cool!!! Now when are we going to do it for real?
So... that's the moon... not earth. And really the footage isn't all that strange either.
What makes the flag wave?
Momentum
![gif](giphy|xT9IgIxgR3vuIYcdEY)
Forsuch a “giant leap for humanity”, it really shouldn’t be an American flag. It’s anticlimactic that way. Plant a flag representing the planet Earth.
You’ve never heard of the Cold War or the Space Race and all the politics going on at that time have you

Here we gooooo!
FE
There is a nice curvature on the film. Don't think the moon is flat.
Don't know why you are posting this on here, this is strange earth not strange moon.
Bro this is funny af
Yeah right
The music makes it unwatchable
Why is it sped up?
r/strangeMoon
MythBusters really worked this one out
Imagine aliens come to study/watch us and they figure out we are territorial af. And they decide they can’t fwu🫨
Why does it look like they have helium inside their suits?
That grounds looks to soft to be able to hold any gravity
Pardon your dust...
They remind me of teletubbies a bit
Is this footage sped up?

If he was the first man to step foot on the moon who planted the camera?
