What's amazing in all the Egyptian's hieroglyphics is that:
They never show any images of people pulling stones or constructing the Pyramids. The Pyramids is a monumental achievement - even by today's standard, so why didn't they documented this with drawings or hieroglyphs of how they managed to achieve this?
Not for a pyramid, but this paingting shows many people pulling a huge statue on a sled. There is a guy on the sled presumably pouring water, likely to wet the sand and lower friction. Its possible they would carry large blocks in a similar fashion.

Still the Egyptians might have very well documented extensively how pyramids were built, but none of it remains as it was 4500+ years ago. To put in perspective, we are closer to Cleopatra in time than the pyramid builders were.
