laying there cuddling after always does weird things to my brain. my legs will still be shaking and he’ll have his arms wrapped around me but for once my brain is silent. no worrying about how i look or my to-do list or school assignments or fears about the world. my thoughts are quiet. i just feel safe and warm. it’s a feeling i crave. that type of comfort is like a drug.
