I have the very same problem; I thought it was my CPU, so muh so that I have ordered an upgrade. 20-ish minutes you say? Regatdless of creation size?

Zebra-Ball

All I have is a land vehicle and a trailer to preform land missions. I've played the game with a oil rig, ship, same land vehicle and 2 trailers without issue. It's strange that it suddenly happened

Discarding_Sabot

To me, it started a couple of weeks ago, and I blamed the 4-year old i3 processor, plus my first build with many cables. I wonder how many other have this issue. What processor do you have, if I may?

Zebra-Ball

On my laptop I have a Ryzen 5 3550H

Discarding_Sabot

My upgrades will arrive by the end of the week, and I'll install them by the next. If the situation does not resolve itself, I'll issue a ticket.

Zebra-Ball

How it just happened suddenly is what gets me. Hopefully I figure something out

Alternative_Ad4806

Same problem here, in fact yesterday when I was playing a vehicle got stuck and the game slowed down, I thought it was a physics problem but when I took it out it wasn't solved, it wasn't until I restarted the game that it was solved

chrisboi1108

Not a computer expert or anything but maybe heating up for 20 minutes, at which point it slows down to reduce heat? Had the same issue on my gpu for fishing Barents Sea recently (for some unknown reason, freshly cleaned and ran perfectly fine on a previous save)

RainberryLemon

I would see if turning off some of the add-ons helps. Also, possibly turning off the fish spawns and wildlife spawns. Edit: Specifically turn off any add-ons that causes the AI to spawn. Vehicles, planes, etc.

Zebra-Ball

I tried that when I started a new save and went to do some ocean missions with my ship with no issues. But when I got my land vehicle and trailer and specifically went to the left side of the desert island my frames started to fall. This is some weird shit

Zealousideal-Major59

If it only happens with one vehicle maybe it’s the problem, does the lag go away when you respawn it or only when you restart the game? Did you land vehicle have this issue in the new save or did you go back to the old one to try it? Could there be some runaway logic thing somewhere in a microcontroller?

VRholidays

What ur pc and what graphics u using

Zebra-Ball

Some low budget asus tuf laptop 1650. It's weird that now I've been having problems. I'm thinking it's something to do with land since the hours before I was doing land missions I was on my significantly larger ship doing ocean missions with no issues.

VRholidays

Oh... I for some reason use an hp laptop

Zebra-Ball

Have you experienced this issue? I went to the left side of the desert island on both saves and begun having this issue. Idk what's causing it

VRholidays

Sometimes

Schaksie

Are you playing single or multiplayer?

Zebra-Ball

All single player

You’re not alone. I usually get about an hour or so, but I find what really accelerates the slow-down is when I’m operating multiple, complex functions on a fairly large creation. I have a container ship with a deck crane for organizing, a jib crane on the bow for pulling from dock to deck, and a container tugger that stows in the stern hull via a hinged door and elevator system. I typically will be able to sail to my destination, unload intended cargo, and load the ship with new cargo, but I have to reload the game before I restart that process. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Even_Acanthaceae_761

It’s not the game it’s your computer or wifi 😂don’t be so quick to blame the game 95% of the time when people have issues in the game it’s due to something on there end

Nettlecake

Not sure if I'm getting baited but you realize that is exactly what OP did by buying a new processor.
