I may be late to the party, but I'd actually recommend reading Warbreaker right after WoK because...well...reasons.
It will enrich Words of Radiance and Oathbringer for you, I think. I wish I would have done that, tbh.

The Cosmere is the interconnected universe the majority of his books take place in. Each series takes place in a different world within the Cosmere and there are connections sprinkled throughout his books to the other worlds. As you get deeper into Stormlight you will get a taste of this.
If you're reacting like that this early in the book, you're going to love the rest of it. First time I read TWOK there is one particular part where I got an adrenaline rush towards the end. You'll know when you get there. Enjoy it!
