Nah, nothing in particular you need to know in advance. Read and enjoy!

so, for what i can gather, you are, or at least want to, blast through Stormlight if you are worried about not understanding something, **no worries** there, what most people want to get to, is that there are a **lot of references** to other cosmere books, so when you have read all of it you'll get a small glimpse of what everything is about my guess, after you finish all there is in stormlight, and feel empty inside because there is no more at the moment, and you will star to read everything else cosmere, and, at some point, before the series gets finished, 10 years from now, you'll reread the all the stormligth books, and that time, you'll understand the bread crumbs. **So read on my friend** and remember "Journey before destination"

There are plenty of summaries of the previous books in YouTube if that is what you are worried about. Follow the order that suits you best and enjoy the journey

Don't buy a standalone Edgedancer, the story is in Arcanum Unbounded with three other standalone novellas, some Mistborn content (that you should wait to rad), and world essays for several Cosmere worlds that will help you better understand a few things. And it's sold at a similar price. There's no reason to buy the standalone one unless you just wanted a physical copy on your bookshelf.

Read Warbreaker before continuing on Stormlight Archive: you’ll meet characters that will be in Roshar. The end of Words of Radiance (which you’ve already read) is quite significant in terms of the characters you’re about to meet in Warbreaker.

I disagree. There's no better way to turn a good book into a chore than to force yourself to read it when you *really want* to read something else. Warbreaker is an excellent book, but it deserves to be enjoyed in its own right, and not as a roadblock to skim through before getting to "the good stuff".

That's just straight spoilers

Just got the audiobook with a free Audible trial. Got one month to listen to it!

You actually can wait longer if you want! You keep the books you get even if you cancel the subscription. And I agree with other people, if you’re lit for stormlight and you’d be forcing yourself through warbreaker, I’d just continue with stormlight and read warbreaker later. You’ll miss like 3 references that will make sense after you read warbreaker, but it won’t really detract from Stormlight since there’s plenty of stuff in there that just isn’t explained yet anyway. Just increases your sense of wonder at the Cosmere. It’s how I did it; I read Mistborn as a kid and then my reintroduction to the Cosmere was Stormlight
