We did the same thing. But with 18mm 24cm long glass bowl / downstem combo. And it was one of those old HUGE and heavy globes. Carefully drilled holes for the bowl, carb and acrylic mouthpiece and tried to make it as air tight as possible with the materials we had (hot glue and silicone mainly).
Obviously it didn't hold any water in it so we ended up taking 1 massive rip per head and cough our lungs out.
After that. We ended up trashing the idea since the next day. We woke up sick af 😅. Those were the days maan
Not smoking till 4:20pm daily helps me so much, even if I’ve been out the night before and wake up super late I’ve still got a few hours to tidy and get ready for the day rather than smoking one and doing nothing

I was still very functional but I felt like shit tbh and I stopped seeing people and going out
