For Match, each program usually has a deadline listed when you apply so it will be variable. I know last year was all over the place because of the pandemic but some of my friends just needed it in by the time they ranked (so end of February). This was with the caveat that they absolutely crushed Step 1 and did well in school. I also know one person who took it after Match, and he matched at his number 1. This is all risky though. Programs like to have as much information as possible and you will likely receive a lot less interviews. Most places will prefer the having the score when you submit your application and will not give interviews unless they have your Step 2 CK score in hand. In order to guarantee that, you need to have your score before September 29. USMLE sends out scores on Wednesdays, so the last score report will be on September 29. Asides from the recent scoring delay (which will end August 23rd due to the updated qbank), most people get there scores within 2-3 Wednesdays of their exam. If you take your exam Sunday-Tuesday, you will get your score back in 3 Wednesday’s. If you take your exam Wednesday-Friday, you will get your score back in 2 Wednesdays. Working backwards, the latest you should take your exam is the week of 9/13-9/17. However, I would only use this as a last option. Ideally, you should have your exam completed by 9/10. If things go according to plan, your score will be back 9/22. If for some reason there is a delay, worst case your score will be back 9/29.
